I used a 3/32 cobalt drill bit to open up the spike to accept wicks that are about 2mm thick, similar to my GenLV setup. Used an oring at the bottom to ensure the hole lines up between the posts. It is now my go to atty, the raised lip makes it a slight PITA to connect the negative but its worth it, using 32g kanthal and a 4/3 wrap.

Initially there was no raised lip, but I noticed that I had more of a juice leak problem from the threads just sitting static. With the raised lip there is no more leaking through the threads sitting static unless severly flooded. Hope that explains the lip.

Anyone using their GTUS on a Precise? I just traded for a P+18500 (not arrived yet). They do have the recessed connector, which I don't think will be a problem, I just thought I'd see if anyone has tried this combination.

Nope, waiting on some SS rods I ordered, working on a manual telesopic battery mod for the GTUS :)

One pic missing for me , sorry. How much wick do you leave extending through the 'spike' when a.) using the 3/5ml tanks and b.) when using the eGo B-tank/tip? Or do you leave it as long as shown in the picture w/ the bottom assembled?

thanks

Hi, it can be cut short or left long your preference. I find if it is long when the juice gets low (past the top of the wick) it delivers juice faster it there is a hole in the wick.
