Thank everyone for the moral boost, I was thinking and here is what I came up with:
Top Ten thinng you can do with a non working ego astetic ring:
10: Use it as sling shot ammo

8: Bracelet charm
7: Necklace Pendant
6: Worry Stone
5: Plumb Bob
4: Hair weave jewlery
3: Pencil Stand
2: Paper wieght
And the number one thing you can use it for....
1: Fishing Weight!

Dan, if you asked everyone that ordered if they need that piece I would be surprised if even 10% of the people need that. I'd hate to even have to see you fix them for the ones that won't even use them.

If you add some horseshoe or four leaf clover engraving on them, you could offer them as mini card protectors
No ring needed for me either. Using a Don (and looking forward to what the GTUS will look like on there). Maybe we could send the extra rings to Mordor.
Well, while I agree that I don't need a ring for aesthetic purposes, I will most definitely try the gtank on an ego. I understand it increases the flavor, etc of juices. It might be nice to give those ego batteries a new purpose in life

i dont think i need the ring but i would like to have to play with either way. in fact dan if you end up with a big pile of extra as scraps i wouldn't mind having a couple extra to play with - perhaps i can rework some too or turn them down on my lathe or something ...

Dan, like everyone else chiming in on this, I don't need the eGo ring if it comes down to needing to re-order that part. No need for you to eat the cost on a piece that isn't necessary for me.
If it does come down to that piece being a total wash and you consider re-ordering, I think you should definitely post to see just how many people actually want/need that piece so you don't waste $$ unnecessarily. Certainly none of us want to see you take a hit considering the great boon you are already doing for us by running this co-op
