I was recently hooked up with some G4 Cartos from Jason at E Cig City (much thanks) and am very impressed.

I am vaping on a 901 Passthrough, 510 connection to G4 Carto.

I must say, I don't understand all the hate. People say the flavor is no good, they leak, they don't fit right, etc, etc. But I'm just not seeing it. I think it's highly likely (save for the DOA products) that people are not gentle with their equipment (as opposed to me being mostly idle as I vape, via passthrough) in their pockets, storing, etc.

This little carto is fantastic. I was looking for a mini tank without having to revamp my whole vaping rig and this is it. I have only one slightly bad thing to say about my whole scenario and it has nothing to do with the G4 itself, but rather the 901-510 connection requiring a bit of raising on the 901 battery side.

Other than that, I don't see what the problem is. The draw, flavor, convenience, capacity... simply excellent. I only picked up three as I was a bit skeptical at first, but the two out of the three I have started using are working just as described, no flaws, no disappointment. Good night sweet polyfill, pyramid tea bags and other like-nuisances. Hello sweet vaping.

I think ease of use really is under rated sometimes. I was able to quit smoking six months ago due to lucking out and finding this forum. I was guided to the 808d-1 which turned out to work well enough without a lot of hassle. Don't get me wrong, I have a box o crap that I futzed with and built- Boxmods, flashlights, ce2 tanks etc., but for most people that is a bit much. I have had family members ask if it's really that hard to vape that you need all that crap.
I think the g4 is kind of like the 808's, it works well enough without all the futzing, dremmeling and hot glue. I've had one for about a week now and am enjoying it. Tastes good enough, decent vapor, super easy to fill if you use a syringe, and holds a reasonable ammount of liquid without looking all steampunkish. Is it the best performing cart available? Probably not, but it's taste does beat a filler cart. Does the mouthpeice pop off? Yes, but if you shove it in a little further so a few ribs are in the tube it seems a little less prone to self destruct in the pocket.
Overall I like it so far. Probably because it's like the 808's I started with- They work pretty well and I dont have to do a lot to get reasonable performance.

Biggest issue I had was flavor. It tasted TERRIBLE. It wasn't any type of coating that needed a dry burn, this was weeks of use. Every single juice I had, PG, that I used in boge 510's and ce2's, tasted like complete ... in the G4. I got them from COV btw, and never had a problem with stuff from them until the G4. It was really easy to fill them, but that's about the only saving grace. Maybe they're better at HV? I dunno, I'm not buying more crap just to use a cartomizer.

I just got some of these today. They came with the 808 I bought from Heavens-gifts. First one produced little to no vapor at all, just enough to identify that it was firing, but practically nothing and the juice all leaked out within 2 minutes. Second one hits really good, but the taste seems foul. If they all performed like the one I'm vaping on now I would recommend them with the exception of one thing. It appears the juice is settling down between the tank wall and the connector and floating around whatever kind of adhesive they've got on these things. Is this safe?

I just had to put my thoughts on these in here as well.

I've only used the factory cartos that came with my 808 e-cig and some boge LR cartos and the G4. After reading this thread I'm starting to think the C4 is the reason none of my juices taste good, or are hit and miss, at best. Sometimes a flavour will taste amazing but a puff or 3 later tastes like crap, but the majority of the time they taste like crap in these cartos.

I've just started DIY and I believe this is definitely not a good carto for testing DIY mixes, really dissappointing...

Pros:
really easy to empty out, clean and refill with a new flavour. - great for testing mixes. Caveat, pretty much anything you put in it will taste like crap.

Cons:
Taste like crap
Poor quality control, clear cylinder not fully glued to base and leak.
Liquid somehow siphons out the base.
Constantly sucking liquid up into draw tube/mouth.
Rubber nipple prone to come off and leak juice in your pocket/purse.
Plastic cracks - nowhere near as durable as metal.
