Just got a call back from Halo and they said I am not the only one having that particular issue with the site.

They are having IT look at it and hopefully will have it fixed soon.

I did get to place my order over the phone so I will let you know how I like the mini tanks when I get to try them.

Thank you DaveOno for trying to help me.

Good to know it isn't an issue with this darn laptop after all.

Cindy

Isn't it great that Halo called? And took your order? And gave you the discount, yes?

btw, Halo's site still works for me. Maybe use a better browser? Firefox or Chrome. I wouldn't want anyone to use the poisonous Internet Explorer!!!

i have been using the mini tanks off and on...they seem to run hot and the taste of the juice is not comparable to when they are in the triton tanks...but that just my opinion. I do like them and suggest having them on hand to try out new flavors. I will be picking up a couple more on my next order to have spares

+1. The mini tanks and I do NOT get along. I also find them to run super hot (and I love warm vapes), burns juice easier and I get dry hits a lot from them. Maybe a lighter juice like Malibu would work better in them, I don't know. I feel reg tanks are far better. I now either taste steeping juices by filling a reg tank half way or use a dripper.

And glad to hear some are able to clean the mini and reuse because they were really made to be disposable.

They do seem to run very hot, I agree. I find them useful though to see if I might even like a flavor if I do (and some are clearly just bleh to me) then I put it in a big tank. I do find if there's no flavor in them (and I often find juice flavorless) then it doesn't get anymore flavorfull in a big tank. Tribeca works in everything, though, so I might use them for travel.

That's what I had hoped the minis would do for me, just give me a nice sample taste of juices. The problem for me is that I would get a burnt taste or an off taste so then I thought I didn't like the juices I was testing.

Found out after playing around, it wasn't the juice, it was the tank. I almost quit vaping because of the mini tank and Cafe Mocha. Jefsview had to calm me down and help me out. Needless to say, I was also on a MAJOR nic fit then too. But even to today, I can't vape Cafe Mocha or use mini tanks. I have PTSD from the whole experience.

Well, Cafe Mocha tastes to me like burned coffee grounds - but others love it - which just goes to show how different palates are. So some people like burned cofee.....HAHA Come to think of it, I'm not sure I ever tasted it in a big tank....

I used mini tanks exclusively for 5 months before the Triton upgrade. They are definitely superior to cartomizers, and your best bet for an auto-G6 (I have 4).

They do have a tight pull and run a bit hot, comparable to Low Resistance cartos. They need a cool down between long draws.

I burned through about ten of them before realizing the Triton tanks are far superior and cheaper in the long run. You can't efficiently clean a mini tank, the coils are non-replaceable. Honestly, I have had juice leak past the silicone plug into my mouth on a number of occasions, yet never has a Triton tank leaked even a drop.

$4 for a mini tank.
$7 for a Triton tank.
$2.50 for the coil, $.99 for the tip, makes the tank portion cost $3.50.

The ability to replace components on the Triton tank makes the mini tanks seem overpriced. The Triton is like a Honda with parts, yet performs like a Ferrari.

I thought the question was how many tank refills before the wicks become so clogged you can vape it any more.
I don't have any minis, so I can't say.

That's why I kindof stay away from them. I vape like a crazy person, so for me, they just aren't enough. I'm a 'Triton Tank Girl'. The wicks get clogged way too fast for me, even with cleaning. But a good choice for trying out different juices. :)

There are certain juices that just don't lend themselves to the mini tank. Especially the dark ones. VooDoo, Belgium Cocoa, Tiki.

Belgium just wasn't near as good in the mini as opposed to the Triton. As if it was a different flavor!!

Triton tanks are superb. The mini's are fun, disposable, and for 3.20 right now, try them. Your vaping may differ...

Cindy, I'm noticing that the Halo website is not updating the review points on the 'my account' section. I know they don't add them immediately, but for the last 3 days it wont even update the ones on hold. Hope they getit all straightened out.

Sorry to hear that.

They did say they were working on it and I did tell them that I have been trying to order for several days now.

He said they have been taking lots of phone orders because of the site problems.

Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

They were very apologitic as well.

I hope I get my Halo points for my order today, I never thought to ask.

Cindy

I'm sure they'll get it fixed soon. I'm not complaining. Halo was good to me yesterday. I finally got my first 'freebie' and a sticker for my car! :)

I agree with this 100%. I have some mini tanks still unopened. I gave six of them to KMully but hung on to three of them "just in case" I wanted to try them again. Maybe if should try lighter flavors/colors in them for testers.

I have quite a few flavors sitting around steeping...

i notice the mini-tanks dont run as hot using the G6 battery compared to the Triton.

as for how long they last, i clean half of mine every week (so all get cleaned in a 2 week span) and they are still going really strong. these things will last for months if you take a little decent care of them.

also...where can i get a cheap liver? mine broke.

Speaking of tanks :) I dropped my various coils today out of my bin...how do I tell which ones are which ohms

Hate when that happens... :glare:

Whip out your multimeter and measure. Don't have one, get one they are inexpensive. $20 or so at home improvement store of your choice (Lowes, Home Depot, etc.).

Could drag out a magnifying glass and look. Higher ohm coils would have more loops or thinner wire.
