I have 3 Nintendo Virtual Boy units and one is on an original store display stand. (I've seen them sell on eBay for about $1,600. I was lucky to get mine for a third of that) I have all but 2 games ever released for the system, including the Japan only games. The rarest game I have for the system is Virtual Bowling (JP release). It is by far my favorite system. It had great potential. I think it was just poorly timed. Red LEDs were the only affordable color at the time (Thus the monochrome display). They were also more concerned with the release of the N64 at the time. Nintendo also marketed this unit quite poorly. They built up too much hype and didn't focuss enough funds/resources to R&D.
I also own a Colecovision, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Sega 32x, NES, Gameboy, Gameboy micro, PS2, PSP, and a Wii.
I'm a huge fan of the 32 bit era. Probably because it was so short-lived. I feel like most of it was just put out there just to pacify 64 bit units were ready. There are some real hidden treasures that were hidden within that era. Many of which are only appreciated by the die-hard fans. I also like to collect some of the more rare games for all systems. I wouldn't fathom a guess at how much $$$ I have dumped into it.
Edit: Oh yea, I also used to play EQOA on the PS2 back in the day on the Hodstock server.
