do NOT use the cinnamon heavy liquids with those plastic CE2's, tanks, etc. The plastic that is used is cheap as hell! The cinnamon will eat through it. As I've stated in a few other posts, those types of designs were great and all, but China is making those things with absolutely CHEAP material, no matter who you get them from, so, it's all pointless for China to make the effort in the first place. It's a good idea, but it's not an economical one without making it with dirt cheap material, which in turn does NOT stand up to various liquids, including those liquids heavy in cinnamon. Best to just stick with the cartomizers with AC, GB, etc.

Until China wants to knuckle-down, pay a little extra and actually use chemical resistant plastics in those new clear mods, it's going to be the same old story, just a different day.

I was afraid of that. Got a new silver bullet and was hoping to get something like a map tank or liquinator to put on it. I may have to explore some new TV flavors but I love GB so much. I can't come up with anything that would be similar but different.

I think my response was a little over-impassioned. Let's consider some things.

Right now, the U.S. is the buyers market for the slew of electronics crap that China is pounding out. Every other month, they're coming out with the "Next Big Thing":

1. Clear cartomizers
2. Clear cartomizers that light up
3. Clear cartomizers that light up and change color
4. Clear cartomizers that play MP3's
5. Clear cartomizers that wipe your .....

and on and on and on. And there IS a market for this as there are droves of gullible, cash carrying people willing to wait and pay out good money for the "Next Big Thing". What people aren't considering is that they're paying good money ONLY to the vendors that are carrying this crap. I guarantee that the vendors are only paying $1 on every $10 that they're charging you for this garbage. And it IS garbage.

Mind you, some very great ideas HAVE come out of China in terms of electronics. However, to keep costs down for any potential vendors, they are making this stuff with the cheapest materials they can muster and rarely guarantee the quality of the products. Most vendors have to eat a lot of losses because of this, hence the necessities to over-inflate prices, so that they can cover losses and not tap into that precious profit margin, because China won't back their wares.

Even though the ideas themselves are fantastic, the materials used to make these ideas come to fruition, most likely falls incredibly short of being able to live up to its intended purpose.

So, you're buying these clear plastic things that seem to be water soluable and since you paid good money, you're wondering why these damned things aren't working. Well, paying good money, doesn't make an electronic device work, using good MATERIALS ensures better performance.

Since the insanely cheap plastics used for these "next big things" may be slightly heat resistant, they are most certainly NOT chemical resistant, that would cost WAY too much. So, while they may be able to accommodate those playful little kitten liquids like a Ruyan Apple flavor, they WON'T hold up to a full flavor, cinnamon heavy liquids like GB or AC. The cinnamon degrades the plastics and they crumble and we have 100 customers calling to say there is something wrong with the liquid, never considering the cheap plastic stuff they're using.

It's just best to stay away from the clear plastic stuff. Or buy playful kitten liquids.

THANK YOU for that input Dark

It means a lot, because I'm not one to shy away from something that works. The 2.5 ohm cartomizers I've been using, while some behave cheaply, for the most part, they do what they're supposed to do, so I get comfortable with it, and don't really try other stuff.

So those that do, I do appreciate input like this. This is stuff we can pass on to our customers as well.

Thanks for the info, very insightful stuff. I've had good luck with the smoke tech cartos and honestly have no desire to see the juice, (Hell, with my Jazz Pipe, i can't even see the carto) I just want to have a consistent vape and I thought that the tank, on my soon to arive SB, might keep the carto wet better than I do. With that being said, I think I'll simply keep doing what I'm doing. There are a couple of TV juices I would like to try but GB will remain my all day vape. it's just so damn good. Thanks Geoff.

Gentlemen! May I direct your attention to vapor-age.com? Jonah has stainless tanks on the way .. i.e stainless tops, bottom and tubes. They will be called the Depth Charge and will use the regular size or xl dual coil smoketech cartos. They will also fit cartos from other vendors, i.e Boge or IKV. He will also be offering them with a Pyrex tube version similar to his Torpedo tanks.

I'm definitely planning on getting a 4ml depth charge in full stainless for my ADV Geoffs Blend.

Thad! you in?!!

Hell, screw the tanks. I JUST got a few packs of 50mm, 2.5 ohm, stainless dual coil cartomizers direct from manufacturer. We actually may carry these ourselves in the near future.

I've gotten pretty used to breezing through a carto per day vaping Geoff's Blend. Since I buy from manufacturer, I guess I can afford to burn through these a little.

But these new dual coil jobs?!? It's DAY 3 with this sucker and from the taste, I'd say it's got a few more days to go! Amazing.

Probably doesn't help ya'll much since they have a 500 MOQ purchase....But tell you what, I'll find out what vendors are carrying these and yes, I'll tell you who.

Also, their clearomizers seem to be holding up pretty well. I have one sitting full of Geoff's Blend right now, just sitting. I know the feeling when plastic starts to get brittle. This isn't doing that, at all.

I'll give you more info later.

A quest it is. After being told about the dual coils by Thad, I tested a few different kinds. I found the 510 Mega cartos that Madvapes carries to work best as far as flavor delivery goes. The good thing is that they work great at 3.7 and 6v as well. No loss in flavor. I've tried the Xl's and the Ego megas as well but find the 510 megas to be the best.

Then it's settled. At the beginning of the year, we'll start carrying various cartomizers. We'll weigh the market too, to see if there are some electronics worth carrying, but I think largely, we'd want at LEAST a small variety of those to sell direct in the Tasty Vapor factory.

I can tell you that there is a large amount of people in the Bay Area alone that just don't have clue-one about electronics.

In any case, everyone here knows full well, that this is something that just needs to happen.

Geoff, I know you've had a problem before with carrying hardware, so I'm a little apprehensive about you venturing into that aspect of the business again. Would not want that side of the business intruding in what you are already excellent at, which is creating some of the best juices in the land.

That being said, I think if you carry a small inventory of "select" items that would enhance a users experience with your juices, whether it be in the form of cartomizers or tanks etc, it would afford a user the option of buying from you when they order juices from you. You've expanded your base of operations and it would be a small addition to find somebody and dedicate them to the hardware side of the operation.

Regardless, I wish you all the success in the world, and hope you keep supplying Thad and me with Geoffs Blend forever. :)

I'm in total agreement with Dusty, I would love to have a one stop vape shop. Best of luck to you my friend.
