Ive ordered some glass bottles in a variety of sizes. they will be used for storage of my pg vg and nic solution. (got a gallon each of pg and vg coming). so i need to know what equipment is a must have for mixing flavors. do people use cyclinders and beakers? do most people keep it simple with small plastic bottles? what's best for exact measuring? on one hand dont want to buy stuff i wont really need and on the other hand want to have some quality equipment for years of good use. all suggestions appreciated, duplicate suggestions a plus. thanks

Best of Luck John333, I have been DIYing for about a month and have a ton of WL flavors. Unfortunately for me I have not found anything worth vaping as an all day vape. I mix in 5 Ml bottles using the drop method from pipettes. Mine work out to 40 drops per Ml, so I can easily calculate %s by drops. My tobacco flavors need to steep according to other friends who claim to have produced good results, so currently I have 4 separate 5 Ml bottles of various "tobacco base" being "aged" The only other flavors that I can recommend as "tasty" are Juicy Peach, and Peanut Butter from Wizard Labs. Both flavors are very strong and only need 1% or 2% to produce strong taste.

PS: If you have a Tractor Supply Store near you, they have cheap syringes.

Gloves. Latex/Nitrile disposables or could use the elbow length dish washing gloves. Keep the nic off your skin.

I got a graduated cylinder, but mostly just because I love science-y glass. :p

Just thought of it but some form of eye protection may not be a horrible idea. I've had ash hit me in the eye too many times, and I'm sure that is more pleasant than nicotine base.

went thru WL and added to the cart 27 flavors!! not a fruit in the bunch - well i did add lemon based on PS suggestion. will also get the safety gear. the flavors i chose were based purely on what i like. rather than just jump in and order them all thought i would just do this: seek out recipes that are recommended and sound good. record the ingredients and buy those. Im wondering about Flavor Art. Their price is twice as much. is that due to it coming from Italy or are they better than other vendor products?

Here's my list

I got a 25 ml graduated cylinder but i really only use it for diluting 100ml nic....i will pour say 25 ml of nic in to measure then follow up with another 25 ml of pg and then i have 50ml of 50mg nic base

Get an assortment of syringe sizes and needle guage sizes....my largest is 10ml and my smallest are 1ml...i got the small ones in a bag of 50 on ebay...it was like 5 bucks for 50 syringes...the small size is for the flavorings from WL, the larger syringes and guages are used for VG measurements or when and if i need to make large batches of a simple peach recipe for my wife

a small funnel is often handy just for transferring things from larger containers to smaller ones....you say you bought gallon sizes....good for you but you'll want to get it into smaller containers as it's easier to work with a 30ml bottle than say a gallon sized batch of pg/vg

i also own a 10ml graduated cylinder and i use that again for making large batches of my wife's only juice she vapes...most people make small batches like 30ml and under...i make batches sometimes 250 ml so if you dont think you will be making large batches or diluting high concentration nic you can probably skip these

get a few pair of gloves...WL sent me a few pair for free but i also ordered half a dozen...i wash them and re use

thanks TVN sounds like solid advise. got some glass bottles ordered in a variety of sizes. got 8 each 32 oz amber rounds for the pg and vg storage. also some smaller ones to make it handy. tried to get the breaktru calc but after the down load said something about the NetFramework not compatibile and wouldnt open. im using a 7 year old lap top. so still looking for a calculator. plan to get the 100 nic solution from WL - waiting for the reopen. they also have around 30 flavors i want but first would like to see some "tested true real deal" recipes but havent found anything like that yet. i'm a little hesistant to just try what someone says is good.
