Geek Vape Eagle Tank

Yep guys I hate to admit it but let's face it as Phil stated a few posts back the eagle tank is geek vapes epic FAIL,I have tried everything under the sun to get a smooth enjoyable vape from it and it's just not gonna happen,I ditched the clap tons and put a pair of 26 gauge twisted wire coils in which in theory should vape smoothly,but nope,then put a pair of 22 gauge Kanthal coils and thought ok this will do it,nope still vaped like ....,so am done cause you gotta move on,geek vape if you are reading any of these posts you need to go back to the drawing board and stop blaming the vapers telling them that they wicked it wrong,we are all smart builders who know what we are doing,we can't all be wrong,check your QC and stop putting out crap..

Any time I wonder why there are so many options available for pretty much anything related to vaping, this type of discussion puts that in perspective. I don’t doubt for an instant that some are not getting what they want from the Eagle but, at the same time, I’m vaping mine right now (S03 head at 470 degrees on an Evic mini) and it’s a totally satisfying vape. Granted, it’s not the best flavor I’ve ever had, but the overall performance is more than good enough to interest me in getting a second one.

I’ve been in the same situation. For example, many love the Aromamizer; I wanted to chuck mine out the window (and ended up giving it away to a friend). Hated it! But I enjoy using the Boreas, which shares many characteristics with the Aromamizer.

It is sad that all these diverse choices for gear will come to an end in an FDA-regulated environment.

Finally got my pre-order of Geekvape Eagle tank. Been using the single coil that came with it and highly disappointed so far. ZERO FLAVOR tried entire wattage spectrum.
LEAKS BAD, from bottom glass seal. Weird!

Only positive is HUGE clouds. This is YAHT. Yet Another Hyped Tank. Damn you YouTube reviewers!!

I hear you on the aromamiser I never liked the vape off that thing,not sure what it was,am glad that you are enjoying you're eagle tank experience,if you were close by I would gladly give you the two that I have;-) vape safe my friend..

Hey bud make sure too tighten up the chimney and glass section really tight,don't be afraid that the glass will brake cause it won't,I have 2 of them and they don't leak in that area,as far as flavor and performance goes I think I've shared my opinion enough so I won't bore you with that again SIGH,good luck bud

most of the "big" reviewers are biased or simply dont spend enough time with a tank or mod even I have a rule of thumb for my review channel, at least one full week of heavy use with a tank or 2+ weeks of heavy use with a mod but with mods sometimes they show problems after a month, the my 200s for example mostly cosmetic complaints and little things but after a month im now getting "attomizer short" messages from the 510 shorting out. but then again I also have a rule that I don't care if a company likes it or not I speak truth and dont sugar coat anything, I have lost 4 different places that would send me things because I gave something a bad review when they asked me to take it down I refused. people need to know when things are good but also need to know flaws some people will work around flaws some wont but at leas I put them out there. I'm getting a lot of flack over my meagle review but it's not the first time and wont be the last either. far as this eagle tank it's a great idea and maybe they will revise it and make it better but until then my opinion stays the same it's a rta not a tank geared for people to use coil heads because if you have to rewick instantly it's an rta. reviewing the griffin mini soon first thoughts on that....much better then the eagle, on par with the tornado nano except harder to build on. But better flavor then the griffin 25. keep in mind this opinion may change

OK, tried dual coil and it's even worse. Wattage goes up and down randomly and I get a "Atomizer Short" error message after every 1-2 hits!

Hey bud did you check the post screws to see if they are tighten down good? I learned the hard way to inspect every coil before using them to make sure screws are tight,juice holes are covered up to prevent leaks,I ordered extra coils when I first ordered my tanks,have used like 5 different coils and none of them have been .2 ohms as they are supposed to be,they all read .12/.13 but no higher,I think somewhere in China 5 year old kids are hammering out coil heads for geek vape for a buck an hour:-/

I feel you're pain my friend trust me,on a positive note be glad that you only bought one and two of them like stupid me:-/ maybe with all the negative press this thing is getting geek vape will put out revised coils in the near future,but then again knowing them they will put out eagle v2 so they make more money,one thing is for sure they won't get another penny from me for sure,but what really pisses me off is the top reviewers that go on and on about how honest they are about their reviews when we now have proof that they are bold face liars who make money from all sales of products that they have reviewed to the tune of 8-10% so it's in they're best interest to give crap like the eagle two thumbs up,shame on them..

Man you must really love your crown tank,I've nothing but horror stories about that thing from leaks,burnt wire taste,even the makers of the crown agreed that they're coils had issues,I'll say a prayer for you that all 400 coil heads are good my friend as that must have set you back a few $$$;-)

Oh no, 1/3 coils are going to be crap. Most coils will only last 2-3 days approx 10-15ml. Yes, it isn't the ideal solution but haven't found anything else come close in flavor. Cleito, H+, TFV4 are all good but coils are more expensive. Got these for $5 per 4-pack.

Cleito has air lock issue. Have to loosen top cap to let it wick, else dry hits.

H+ has spitback issue. Hate that, otherwise awesome flavor.

TFV4 has HUGE clouds but less flavor using quad coils. Expensive coils too.

Oh ok got it,ya I've been into rebuildables for about a year now and it's been a challenge for me,I wish I could find a tank that took coils and that could satisfy me but no luck,once you get into rtas and sub ohms it's hard to get something that works good,plus am picky I like a smooth vape,I can't stand cracking,spit back,gurgles,ect so am constantly rewicking them over and over,whatever you do don't get the ijoy tornado nano,it's a leaky night mare and the pre built coils are crap.heres my personal email if you ever want to chat vape it might be easier then going thru the forum(francklamonica@yahoo.com)

I don't know if all of them all liars per se. I think, as mentioned by another poster, they just don't spend the necesarry time with it. The Youtube review I originally saw, forgot the channel, had a group of 4 guys with one of them with his first introduction of the Eagle he was sent gratis from Geekvape. He filled it up and vaped. Another person in the video asked if it was leaking and he said it wasn't. That's the problem. Mine didn't start leaking until about half of a tank was vaped. These reviewers are just not doing their due diligence in reviewing stuff.

Honestly, they can't say you coiled or wicked it wrong when they sell you a pre-wicked coil system. But of course that won't stop them. lol

Hi all,just wanted to post a quick update as I received my dual tiger coils from heavens gift for the eagle tank today,so far they are better then those fused claptons that came with our tanks,they pop a lot less and are actually .2 ohms as stated and not .13 like the others,resistance as not jumped around and they are stable with no leaking at the moment,I will update you all when I attempt to rewick them .

Ok well as I had figured those tiger wire coils are no better than the other ones,same over wicking,same scratchy vape,rewicked them with cotton bacon v2 which is a way better cotton then what they are using and it provides zero quality of vape what's so ever, I hope they just come out with an rba head for the eagle because as of now this tank is basically unusable !!!!
