Geekvape Aegis Legend Owners Group
I got this as a trade for a Pax 3 I won in a raffle, also got a Mason RDA with the Legend. Worked great for 24 hours but I did notice disappointing battery life, so I decided to update. After failing to update on Windows 7 multiple times I found my device to be bricked. Tried a few things I saw other people online do and nothing worked for me. I even clean installed Windows 7, then a custom Win7 OS, then Ubuntu, and in the end my roommate let me use his MacBook to update the Legend to 1.2 That went very smoothly and I am once again vaping in style
Just a note to GeekVape, it seems like all the complaints I've personally seen involve Windows updates bricking the mod, and a few other people have fixed it using either another PC or a Mac. Just something to look into... Yes it could be the Windows computers themselves but I did a clean install and removed all my drivers and started over from scratch. I will admit I am using an ancient Dell Inspiron 1545 so it's possible my laptop was the issue all along in my case.
Either way I have a perfectly functioning updated Aegis Legend and I couldn't be happier! Thanks for an amazing product, I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next

Hopefully all the software bugs will be worked out before release. I think I can speak for everyone when I say I'm willing to wait a few extra months to have most of the bugs worked out. But hey I'm a hardcore addict and I vape like it so if you need some user-end quality control send me your latest prototypes and I promise I'll find everything wrong with it
