As much as I enjoy my Zeus I doubt I'll have more than the two. I'm still a Nano junkie. Thinking hiclass is our first Zeus junkie.
Your fondness of Nanos has me thinking that maybe I should try one out. I don't know anything about them (except that they are top airflow, I assume). What should I look for?

I have one Zeus in rotation with my 4 nano’s. I like certain aspects of the Zeus but The Nano’s are just rock solid performers. I’m not really diggin the postless deck on the Zeus or the offset wicking but once done correctly it is a great vape and a treat to fill.

Not sure what you mean by what to look for. I'm a junkie for a specific nano, the OBS Engine Nano. Single coil, side fill port, 5ml capacity. Same Nanos Major commented on above.

I have a couple nanos, an original engine, engine mini, crius, crius plus, and maybe something else that I can't remember. Maybe I never got the hang of the correct set up on the nano or something but never did get as good of flavor as I do with the zeus. OBS makes some good tanks and none of them ever leaked.

While I am getting very good flavor from the Zeus and Crius 2, still they don't match the Nanos. That being said, I have haven't had the Zeus or Crius nearly as long or had near the number of different builds in them. I have the Nano dialed in perfectly for what I want from my vape.

Exactly that, "OBS Engine Nano. Single coil, side fill port, 5ml capacity" I've never really done any research about any of the OBS RTAs and was curious about which ones you used an liked. Thank you!

Talking about OBS, I have two Crius Plus' that I still use and love. The Engine nano never ever worked for me, providing a mediocre vape at best and it was a real struggle to even get that. I have never wasted so much time on an single RTA trying to get it to perform, I finally fixed it by piffing it to someone else. ;)

Like everything in this vape game, YMMV. :D

TrollDragon has the right of it. Aromaizer's were a bust for me so I whatever 2 I had were piffed and both are being enjoyed and used as daily drivers. How boring would these forums be if we all had the same vape style and tastes?

Exactly. Some people love the Griffin 25+ whereas for me it was an exercise in frustration each and every time I used it. That's how I ended up drifting towards top airflow RTAs in the first place and how I discovered my beloved Zeus. I guess I should probably stick with the Zeus line but I always find myself playing the "what if" game. What if the flavor is better on the OBS. What if the OBS is easier to build on. Oh well. At least I recognize my symptoms.

OBS Crius 2 is another good single coil rta. 3.5ml bottom af, good flavor and doesn't leak if wicked correctly. Actually pretty forgiving for a bottom af rta.

I'm sure it is forgiving for everyone else. The 25+ was supposedly that way too. I learned my lesson.

I bought doubles of a bunch of tanks last year as well as some singles. I went on quite a bit of a spending spree. I haven't really felt motivated to try new tanks since I found the zeus. Hopefully that will last for a while and I can slow down on my spending. Ok, go ahead and laugh. I'll see you on the next hot tank thread.

    I’ve settled on my build: 8 wrap SS316L 24Ga 3.0mm I.D. spaced, running in TC set at 460F and 40W with 60W 1s preheat.

KGD Cotton, tight through the coil, wick ends declumped, thinned, and cut straight at the ends and then evened out, probably about 2mm sticking straight out beyond the cap edges on both sides. With this, I juice the wick and then gently place in the channels, the ends barely touch the inside bottom of the cap after this process.

    Quick Zeus experience update ...

Still using the above quoted build specs, but have been playing around with all different coil heights. I've found the best flavor with the very top edge of the coil lined up even or just slightly below the "step" in the side airflow posts. This is relatively lower than my "average" ... I thought I liked them higher (center of the coil edge lined up with the step) but am finding a bit more stronger/concentrated experience with this config.

I dropped my coil just a bit and it is 4mm, so fairly low and getting improved flavor as well. It is also a surprisingly pleasant warmer vape.

Yeah, forgot to mention that ... warmer as well, which I prefer. I would think with the coil closer/towards the top, it would be warmer, but not the case!

I was rather surprised that I didn't mind the warmth. Nice difference from my norm. For myself the Zeus is more an after dinner dessert rta. Didn't realize that was something I was missing, glad to have found it.

If I remember right, you use Nano’s too right? I might pick one up just for comparison. Really loving the idea of single coil top air RTAs, wish there were more options! Well, maybe not... ;)

Little bird told me there is a Nano in the classifieds. I love them, have six now I think.
