Although 3.5ml is a bit on the lower side, the Crius II is an absolute joy to use.
If I had to decide, whether I could get more capacity or the Crius' fillport, I'd always go for the Crius II.

Did my first build, disaster!! Used fused clapton coil. Bought precoiled, 3.5mm 26/36N80 0.4 ohm. No idea what metal it is so using wattage mode. Had juice coming out of the chimney. Had to turn the tank upsode down to drain it all. Ugh. Now vaping but taste seems muted. Mod is reading 0.52 ohms.

Here you folks go tempting me again. I’m not going to buy a Crius 2. At least not this week anyway.
If you are looking to avoid temptation then perhaps you should spend some quality time in the Shinyitis Support Group. I especially encourage you to lookup @jfcooley He's turned into the go to guy for people who need to be talked out of buying new gear.

Here it is. I suspect I don't have enough cotton. Anyone know how I can get the Zeus head to align?

What I did was, I’ll try my best to explain it. Assemble without the deck, centering the Zeus under the afc hole, then insert deck if not centered remove deck & turn the deck 360 degrees to the opposite side, screw deck in. Hope it works for you.

what I've been doing is making sure the tank is screwed firmly to the mod I grab the glass and twist. For me the bas and chimney (with the Zeus logo) stays in place and everything else turns. I have been able to twist it quite a bit and haven't had any leaks.

The only time I had a flooding issue was when I overfilled it right after a rewick. I always try to leave a bit of room at the top when refilling.
Did you wet the wick tails once you placed them in the wick channels? If the wicks weren't tucked in they could have gotten pulled out of place when you threaded the deck into the tank. Also, I encourage you to watch DJLsb's vid about the Zeus if you haven't already done so. Good luck and let us know how things progress.

@Dropmyload definitely not enough wick.
@Walter_Sobchak tell him about the Scottish roll. Rip has an older how to video. Have to get ready for work or I'd help him.
Great idea! I've had a lot of success using the Scottish Roll method when I wick the Zeus. You want a LOT of cotton in the coil and this is a good way to fill it.

Received mine yesterday. Scottish roll is what I used. Thinned tails. Working great.

My OCD is kicking. Gotta figure out logo alignment.
Can you spin the glass without the base turning while it's screwed onto a mod? I've been able to twist mine (like I'm tryingt to unscrew the glass from the deck) and line everything up without any leaks.

Ok rewicked it after all the great suggestions above. Thank you all very much. Much better now. Some observations :

  1. Its a quiet tank, unlike my supertanks.
  2. First drag isn't very good, takes a couple to get started.
  3. I still think I could use more cotton. Will try again tomorrow.
  4. No flooding the second time. Didn't fill it up.

I can get the glass and cage to move, but not the logo. I think I'll need to take it apart as Heartsdelight said.
