The Minikin V2s are just the perfect mod for my style of vaping. Nothing looks bad on them. I have the raw and the black. The raw has the slightest amount of door movement due to no color coating on it. The black is perfect. I use both of them all day - every day and have never had a failure or malfunction in all the months I have owned them.
My Zeus FINALLY shipped from FT. SS will look great on the black Minikin V2.
I have owned SO many mods and never found perfect until I found the Minikin V2. I have the Purple and the Pink, the Black is on order. I gave my Battlestar to my son - that is how much I love the Minikin V2s. Perfect for me too!

I have 2 of the prism(rainbow) minikins and $56.00 is an excellent price and you are right about them being more expensive colors!
Another good alternative to the minikin is the smoant battlestar. Love mine and they do have a rainbow color and gold that are not shiny fingerprint magnets, many good sales on those too and usually under $40.00- almost the exact same size as the minikin without the swipe screen. I do not think the battery life is as long either ,but still a good sturdy mod with good reviews! Oops did not read that you already have one and gave it to your son!

I liked the Battlestar but I LOVE my Minikins. They just feel right in my hand. It is impossible to explain exactly what it is that makes it so perfect for me. I will probably never see the Prism Minikin V2 for $56 again but I have decided to wait anyway. I have three (counting the black that is on order) and also have Tesla Nanos that I can use. I haven't lately and might sell a couple of those. My brain is too tired today for decisions.
The Raw Minikin V2. They also tarnish up nice and interesting but can be buffed back to shiny if ya want.

Great tank, it was easy to set it up. I get to vape at half the wattage vs the dual coil rdta I used to vape.
