I had a present when I opened the door this morning. So the first thing I did after taking my daughter to school was tell work I was going to be late.

Kanthal, 8 wrap spaced, 3mm, .649 ohms
Used more cotton than normal, but I think I need to rake out the ends just a bit more. Running above 45 watts produces muted hits. Running at 37.5 watts is about perfect with great flavor compared to the smok TFV8-x4 BBB tank.

Absolutely love the draw on this.

Picked up 10feet of 24ga SS316L wire from local shop.

Made a new coil with SS. 8wraps, 3mm, spaced, 0.38ohms. Wicked it, made the tails longer, thinner and fluffier.

Set it to 30watts. And OMG! So much flavor! This tank is made for SS wire. I’m never using Kanthal ever again.

Lots of flavor between 25-35watts. Haven’t tried it higher yet. Time to figure out how to set up the mod for Temp Control.

Now I need to figure out how to get the juice to spit to get a wetter Vape.

Rewicked after the first tank. And I took your advise @Letitia and dropped the watts to 25. Much better experience. I think it is time to pick up some SS 316L though and give it a try later this week.

I ordered one from 3F... showed it would ship in 3-7 days.
After 10 days I asked why it hadn't shipped yet.
Response:
"Sorry that I noticed the order should be shipped out in 3~7 business days and there's a few days' delay because we were doing quality test.

I've had rotten luck with 3f lately. I've had three orders in the last month that have taken forever even one said ships in 24hrs and didn't ship for almost a week. I'm still waiting on one that was placed over a month ago.

Problem is that new atomizers are coming out faster than manufacturing can keep up with. Doesn't help that we vaper's are way too quick to jump onboard with ordering new products. I bet there are many hidden gems that slip thru the cracks due to so many products coming out.

Looks like I’ll be buying a roll of SS wire from Unkarmen.
The Lightning Vape wire just doesn’t want to play nice with DNA mod in TC mode and after half a tank of juice all I could tase is sweet flavored metal.
$5 down the drain.

Temco from Ebay ... can’t beat it, fast shipping, and appears to be pretty pure.

So far the only complaint I have with the Zeus is a minor flooding issue with the first 4-5 hits after I fill it up. I am guessing that it it a wicking issue (probably because I am new to RTAs), but I figured I would bring it up to see if anyone else is getting that.

After about 5 hits it clears up and works beautifully.

I haven't experienced any flooding. What type of bottle do you use for juice? I used to have flooding issues with tfv4 rba head, found if I used less pressure on bottle when filling fixed it. Also found that if I pulled bottle tip out before releasing pressure made a difference. I now fill all tanks this way so I know if it floods it is usually the wick. just a thought, hope it makes sense.

Currently using a glass dripper to fill. And I am alternating filling one side and then the other until I can see that the liquid is just under the cap. With my unicorn bottles I always pull out before releasing pressure.

I don't think so, I have been pretty careful not to. And it happened when I know for a fact it wasn't full. So I am guessing the wick is the issue. Again, new to RTAs, and so I have to find that sweet spot.

What ready made coils would you recommend to a noob who wants to buy his first rta? I currently use a supertank 0.5 ohm at 29 watts. I prefer flavour over clouds any day. Ex smoker trying to quit. I want to get the Zeus with all the rave reviews here. But I don't want to build just yet.
