I have noticed that also since I started DIY. Most of my liquids are pretty much clear or have a minor tint.
I love not having to rewick several times a week. I change wicks now when changing up flavors more than changing because I actually need to. Cleaning tanks only requires a quick hot water rinse and a splash of alcohol, dry and good to go. Spend more time cleaning dts than tanks. Love it!

I find I am rewicking about once a week. Only because it doesn't quite last 2 full weeks, and I like to do all of my coil work on the weekend. I also do a very full Scottish wick, and thin out the tails about 50%. Anything less than that seems to only last 2-3 days.

And mixing my own juices is so enjoyable. I love being able to experiment with what I have.

Yeah I went on a bit of a flavor binge new years. Putting together a second flavor stand today to accommodate the added flavors. Think this rabbit hole will prove to be deeper than the one I jumped into for gear. Going to try out the scale today or tomorrow. Should be interesting considering my lack of attention to detail.

    Somewhere between here and there
I've only been doing DIY for a year or two and already have well over 200 flavors. I'll see a recipe that I want to try and it seems like I would never have all the flavors needed so it would prompt another flavor order. The good thing about DIY is that flavors are super cheap to try and last pretty long.

I believe many Malaysian vapers don't DIY their own juice for it is relatively cheap for ejuice made in Malaysia. I can get 300ml of juice that I like for about (convert from my local currency to USD) 40-60 USD.

In my case, I don't take fruity juice nor juice with mint/menthol. I only take creamy/tobacco type of juice which in general are gunk prune - according to the maker, it is because of the type of sweetener they use.

I like to seek out nice flavor juice in the market, but DIY is indeed to much for me. I am kind of person who scores A in theory paper but fails lab test for my physics...:( and always fail in all chemistry EXPERIMENTS with test tubes...:nah:

The juice I make for myself costs $16 USD per 300ml. The one my wife likes costs us $6 USD per 300ml. Not only is it cheaper, but I know exactly what is going into my juice. That to me is even more important than the cost of the juice.

Come on, 40 USD per 300ml including the cost of the bottle and transport fee, that is damn cheap... man.

Let me show you one fantastic juice I just received yesterday and I think it is now my no. 1 e-juice:

Man... its flavor is really like I am eating the cake. That is a truly professional type of quality at heavenly height which is beyond my capability to bake one.

Further more, I have been away from test tube kind of experiments for decades and I don't want to go back to it, ever.

You do love coil/wick killers. Looks tasty tho.

I fully clean under warm water and air dry entire tank each time I rewick it.

Installed a 5 wrap fused Clapton wire today and the flavor is just not the same vs 6 wrap coil. For some reason the juice flavors are more metallic, similar to SS wire. Very odd.
What’s more odd, the resistance gone up by 0.03ohms.

I would be interested in seeing how you/what you did for a flavor stand.

Acrylic nail polish holder from Amazon. They come in different sizes. Will hold 30ml with no problems. 4oz squared (FA) fit as well. Very easy to put together. I'll go see what size I ordered. Please don't ask for a link.

That's what I wanted but my walls are those horrible old plaster covered stuff. No drywall. Just passed the over 100 flavors mark. Thought it would take me at least 6 months to get to that many. Freakin rabbit hole.

Let me show you what my favorite juice did to my Zeus chamber:

um... that is the result of 2-3 days intensive chain-vaping.
So, when re-wick, I believe mortal livings like you and me will want something like that to be cleaned.:w00t:

    Wow.
It looks like the metal has been corroded by acid.
