I'll be there. I have 7pm events scheduled on both Friday and Saturday. (Friday is "Learn How to Dance Tahitian" which I hope means I get to learn how to shake my hips without looking like I'm experiencing a very localized earth quake for the amusement of others.) So I might be in for a quick passing Hi-Bye thing.
I don't even remember what the heck I gave you legion13... I've got to mix some juice today so I don't run out before Gen Con ends. I'm running very low. Horribly low...
I'm really pumped because this is the first year I got a ticket to You Too Can Cthulhu. Heck, it's the first year I managed to get all my first choices. It's been quite a year of firsts for me. This was also the first year that CS told me my first name threatened the security of 45,000 Gen Con attendees and they were suspending my account until I changed it...that was a fun time...so I changed my name on my account and saved all those people's lives. (I know, I'm amazing like that. No need to thank me for saving your life and wellness. And, yes, I have the emails where it specifically states my first name is a threat to the security of 45,000 Gen Con attendees and I either have to change it or not attend...just in case someone thinks I'm being ridiculously silly.)
Taltos, seriously, you wouldn't believe it. It fills the entire, and recently expanded, convention center in Indy and All the surrounding hotels. I wonder if the LARP'ers will be concentrated at the Crowne Plaza this year? I always thought that was nice with the roaring 20's theme of the Crowne and the LARP'ers in costume, it just seemed to fit.
A friend wanted me to attend his new boardgame's playtest on Friday at 6pm, Xulthul's Shadow is the name, so if the gathering fails on Firday, I know there are some open slots for Xulthul's Shadow in the Playtest Hall. (It's a fun game. I've playtested it before. It should be even better for his Gen Con rollout. Hopefully it will do better than his last game, Zombies Hate Coffee, that he rolled out last year.) Tell him, "J sent me", and you'll get the royal treatment.
Shout out at me if you see me. I'll be the big guy without a black T-shirt so I'll be easier to spot. I think I still look like my avatar, just no beard, shorter hair, and I'll probably be lacking the homemade felt hat...
