Hi All,

Apologies if my questions seem a little daft but I would like some advice please.

I have been vaping for about a year now and been using iSticks 30w and 50w. My 30w is on it's way out so I have just ordered a joytech vt mini as I think it is time to use a mod with replaceable batteries.

From what I have read on here and for how I vape (gs air-m 1.2ohm coil about 15 watts) I believe I should be very safe with the LG HG2 3000mah 20a battery in my new mod. If someone can confirm for me would be great.

What I would like to know though, is it better to use a dedicated charter like the d2 or will it be fine to use the onboard charging on my new mod?

Also, is it better to let the battery drain down to empty before re charging or charge it before it is empty.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I always recommend at least a 20a cdr battery in any power device capable of sub ohm ranges whether the owner intends to use plus ohm or sub ohm.
If sometime in the future you decide you'd like to try a sub ohm clearo or rda/rta you already have batteries that will support reasonable sub ohm ranges.

AW 3000mah 20a
LG hg2 3000mah 20a
Samsung 30q 20a

I prefer to use a stand alone charger, many folks use the built in type.
When using a regulated power device I vape until it won't fire using the built in over discharge to tell me when it is time to charge a battery.
I always rest a battery an hour or so before charging and and hour or so after charging which is one reason I won't use an internal battery charger.

How is the LG HE2/HE4?

Yes that battery will be fine.

it is best to have some relaxation time between charge/discharge.

You don't need to let the battery drain down before recharging

I recently bought some Samsung 30q batteries, but I did see them rated at 15a. I noticed that on Mooche's battery guide he has them listed at actually preforming like 20a ones. Being fairly new with the whole scene, I went with the 30q because they were 3000mah, which in my head said "OMG perfect they will last longer". I'm using them in a sigelei 150 but I'm only vaping at 80w (tops, usually 60w) @ .2 ohms (Tobecco super tank mini). Would I be better off just getting 25r's if km trying to get "longest use before recharge"?

The 30Q's are 3000mAh batteries. The 25R's are 2500mAh batteries.
The 30Q's will last longer before needing to be recharged.
