hiya, i am using GGT 7.4v with i7 atties and 2 x cr123a (purple ones, marked Li-Ion 16340) 3.7v 1000mAh. i don't vape too heavily, maybe 5 vapes every 10-15 mins (with sometimes longer intervals).

but i seem to need to change the batteries several times a day and was wondering if this is normal. the batteries don't completely run out, just suddenly i get a vape with very little vapour and changing the batts seems to work.

does this sound about right? is there any way to measure remaining charge? i can't remember where i got the batts (either dealextreme or ebay i think) and worried that maybe i got some fake ones...

thanks!

Go with the IMR batts. I understand they have a higher discharge rate and will handle HV vaping quite a bit better then the regular Li ion will. Especially if you are using them in tandem. The IMR has a safer chemistry but not protected like the regular AW so its a trade off. Safe chemistry versus protected.. I would go with the IMR fcuk112.

Here is the deal.... Grab some of these and let me know what u think...

CR123A 3.7V 880mAh (pair) - Cloud 9 Vaping

I have been using the same pair of these since the GGTS came out, charged them over 100 times and still working strong! I use the I7 with 7.4 and "ONLY" change these 1 time a day. I am a mid-heavy vaporer and for the money and quality these are perfect IMO. The ones Vapn are talking about im sure are great as well but im thinking more wear on I7 with them and less time possibly... Ofcourse they will produce great vapor and TR... Will have to try them and soon see~

thanks imeo.

i am just wondering with AW batteries to get now (alongside the WF138 charger):

AW IMR 16340 Rechargeable Safe Chemistry Batteries, 2 Pack
AW R123 Rechargeable Lithium Batteries, 2 Pack

i take it both will work OK with GGT?

they are the same price, the r123 have higher (750 vs 550mah) but the 16340 might be more safe? which do you recommend?

cheers.

I would go to higher mah after the fuse that GGTS has because we are not in danger any more Fcuk my friend. But if you dont have the fuse then I agree with Vapn to all that he said:)

Yes, I have them also and they perform very good, cheap and last a long time. Also use the AW one's they are also very good.

I think you will be happy with any AW battery because they are usually the actual mAh rating or at least a lot closer than the normal overinflated mAh rating. These new IMR batts will be available at Cloud9Vaping in the 18500 and 18650 for now and possibly later in the 14500 and 16340s. And I saw them on VaporKings in 18650. Yes they are more money but I think they are well worth it IMHO...
