Just some general beginner questions.

1. I have an ego c twist, anything recommended I do before I set it aside and try something new.

2. Im still in the testing stages of finding my daily vape, what is a general go to for different types of flavors.

3. Is there a large bundle of samples of flavors somewhere? I do I just keep buying small bottles?

4. Are all drip tips literally that? Or can they just be used as a tip? (IDK)

I'll add more as I come up with them lol.

I'm newish too so you might get more sense out of the more experienced bods on here than me. But, here goes:

1. You will probably go back to it. It's about having options I reckon. Maybe try a vv/vw device, something cheapish that gets the job done eg a Vamo or similar

2 and 3. Hard to call on flavours as depends on your tastes. There are lots of eliquid vendors out there (and on here). Experimenting is prob the way to go - I've just bought loads of Liqua from fast tech, which is quite nice

4. Yep, as far as I've seen. Drip tips are tips - you don't need to drip through them though some DTs are better than others if that's what you want to do

Good luck :)

3. Mt Baker Vapor is $5 for 15mls. There flavors are good IMO. If you have a vape store you can go to, most will let you test flavors before you buy. I do not know how far you are from Mountain Oak Vapers, but many have said they have good juice.

4. Drip tips come in various shapes and materials. Some feel better in the mouth than others. It's subjective which you prefer. As I am buying stuff online, I always check the drip tips, and usually buy 1 or 2. Once you have a few, you will see what you like.

Hi

I didn't "advance" from a Twist for 6 months. I spent the time (and money) experimenting with different delivery systems, learning how to drip, trying tons of flavors, figuring out how devices work, etc. Once I got a handle on that, I started looking at other types of power sources. I'm just recounting what I did, not what anyone else should do. Everyone has their own path and the steps are often different. My only suggestion here is to perhaps get a firmer grasp on basic elements, like drip tips, before setting your Twist aside. :2c:

Re: trying different juices keep in mind that your tastes may change over the course of the first few months of vaping. Hang onto juices that you don't care for and you may find that they taste good to you in a few months. While starting DIY may seem daunting, I find that mixing simple 1 flavor recipes saves tons of money and sort of puts you in the drivers seat for finding what you like on a shoestring. It's not for everyone but I wish I had started doing DIY from the beginning, so will recommend trying it eventually.

Re: trying different hardware - think about what you are trying to accomplish first. It will help us in recommending something for you that is a good fit. If you want longer battery life, go with something larger that holds a bigger battery. If you want stronger vape, go with a vv/vw type battery. If you want portability, a bottom feeder may work for you. Less dripping/refilling? Tanks etc. There are so many options now that you can find just about anything that you need.

Best of luck!

A variable voltage eGo such as a Vision Spinner or Joytech Twist are excellent introductions to vaping. You can use them at a single voltage, or if you wish to experiment you can adjust the voltage level to the particular flavor you are using, For example, I prefer a lower voltage for fruit flavors; for something like a coffee or tobacco flavor, somewhere between 4.0 - 4.5 volts works nice to bring out the best flavor.

If you decide to move to more advanced gear, you have the choice between a mechanical (no variable power) or regulated (variable voltage/power via boost circuits in the processor) advanced personal vaporizer. The advantages of these two over an ego battery system are several:

Replaceable rechargeable batteries for longer battery life - these often will last a year or more and are less than $10 to replace.

More durable - usually made from aluminum or stainless steel tubes, can take a lot of abuse.

Larger devices and able to carry larger capacity juice devices, and a larger variety of such.

I've been using a CE6 and getting very satisfying vape from a particular receipe. Recently bought an H1 stainless steel tank and filled it with the same receipe and it tastes terrible in the H1 vs the CE6. My battery is an eGo-C Twist set a 4.0 used with both the CE6 & the H1.

Anyone have any ideas why the same receipe tastes so different when vaped from the two different tanks?

I'm not familiar with what a H1 SS tank is, but I'll assume its a cartotank(?).

Different wick materials, different methods of wicking to the atomizer, and differences in top coil vs bottom coils can all affect the flavor of a juice to a degree. If the H1 is a cartotank, different carto brands may use different filler material which can affect flavor. How well the carto is primed can also affect how well it will perform in a tank.

About half a week into no smoking felt.like i had the flu, which in turn I still have a cough. I switched from top to.bottom coil and it helps me not.to cough as bad.

1.
Anybody have suggestions on some decent disposable bottom coils? I bought a kanger evod and love it so far, much better taste and vape experience in general. Although kinda airy, had to plug 1 of the 3 holes. May just buy 2 or 3 more and a bunch of.heads.(hate cleaning.to switch liquids)

2.
Anyone have any suggestion on a full bodied menthol? Smooth and not too much.

3.
Any online vape stores it be best to stay away from? Like known to.be shady, cs, or just bad liquid in general?

Always have something as a back up :) If you do move on to new devices dont get rid of the twists.Never know if you will need them or want to let a analog smoker give them a try :2c:

Oh yeah, I plan on sharing. I've been looking at the vamo right now. Seems great for the price tag.
