About 9 months ago I started using only Carto's. I started with the Geniune Joye Tech 510 cartomizers and had no real issues with them. Then a couple of months ago for some reason it became very hard to find suppliers for them so I switched over to Boge 510 carto's. The first few boxes of the Boge's worked fine, however the last three boxes they only last a day or two and then become too hard on the draw.

I am using the Riva 510 and have tried 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 carto's with the best performance yet out of the 3.0. that box each one lasted two full days before becoming plugged. Any suggestions on what I can do to prevent these carto's from plugging up so quickly? Thanks in advance for our help and suggestions.

Don't really have any suggestions for the Boge other than juice. If you've changed juice that could attribute to them not lasting as long. Some juices...usually darker/sweeter or higher VG levels will clog a carto quicker than clearer/non sweet juices with higher PG levels.

If you prefer the Genuine Joye Cartos Cignot carries them in assorted colors.

I've not found any carto better than your JOYE 510 carto, as long as I buy them in white so they are transclucent and easy to fill. I recommend searching for another JOYE 510 carto seller. I'd give you some suggestion, though I'm reluctant to make my sources public because of limited availability. I can also give you my techniques to simplify filling.

HTH,
Dave

I thank you all for the fast replys, I have tried different ratio's on the pg/vg and have used both light and darker juice. Yes the more VG and Darker the faster they clog but when I first switched I could get up to a week out of one carto no matter the juice type. I didn't know if something might have changed or I needed to use a higher resistance carto, as thinking I might be burning the juice causing them to plug.

Ahh, it was referred to as an atomizer cone and so I figured it was an actual part of the cartomizer near the atomizer that you somehow removed. I've got a Riva and sometimes luse the cone and sometimes don't. I didn't think that would effect the draw - everyone that I've heard seems to think it helps but I'll experiment a bit.

The paper clip trick is nice - it just freed up one of my troublemsome cartos, although it released some juice on my hand.

The Ego's and Riva's have a cone that screws over the atomizer or cartomizer. It is mostly just make the unit look better.

tj99959, I have tried that little trick and it does work on some of them. However, I have had a few that I just couldn't get a paperclip to push thru. It felt like the little tube had moved and I was hitting metal at the bottom instead of going all the way through and coming out the other end. Thanks for the suggestion.

I've found that the darker juices usually kill my cartos quicker. For example, I've got a carto that I've filled with RY4 and I'm on day 3 of use. I filled another carto with a caramel brownie flavored juice and it was changed out after a day of vaping.

There may be natural "brownie" ingredients in the latter juice.
