So I've tried 510 atties: 3.0, 3.2 and 1.5 ohm (never had a real Joye!), 510 cartos (Boge) - 3.0 and 2.0 ohm. 306 atties - 1.7 ohm and then CER4 clearomizers (normal size) - 2.8-3.0 ohm.
I love them all, even though the clearos have dumped at least 2ml of good juice on me. The 306LR at 4.0V is basically heaven on earth for me especially with AVE 100% VG juices like GJ and BB, but not practical for driving.
I have a 3.7V MadVapes AA box mod, a 5V AAA box mod, and a ProVari.
I love them all too. I thought my ego batteries were useless after being stuck with one on a day where I forgot my box mods on the way to work and the Provari was awaiting me in a package at home (what a long day that was).
For one, my favorite 900 and 1000 mah eGo batts died in a couple of months after I bought them, including a 1000 mah Joye Tornado battery, so I knew I had to move on. And I hadn't tried lower-resistance cartos on them before, because I'm pretty sure I killed my nice batteries with LR atties, because I only used the LR atties on my nice high mah batteries (high mah, but same crappy MOSFET, whoops).
However, with Smoke Tech Dual Coil cartos, the eGo comes alive. I just hooked up a 650 mah eGo knockoff battery that I haven't used in months and holy smokes.
And yeah, it rocks with 2.0 Boge cartos too, I just hope they don't kill the batteries like a 1.5 ohm atty does. I just hooked a friend up with that setup (2.0 ohm carto, eGo batt, 510 standard batt, 510 charger, eGo USB charger, 5ml of Halo Freedom and 5ml of Halo Ice) and he's in vaping heaven. I was feeling generous
Lucky him, I bought $300 worth of crap from various vendors before getting the good stuff.
