I've just been wondering... how long have these mods to carts and batteries been going on? I would think that the original manufacturers (or new ones) would be redesigning the hardware and incorporating some of these unique modifications. Are they redesigning the carts and fillers, for instance? Larger carts? Straws designed into them already? Better wicking?

All this has probably been discussed before but... is there a link?
