His vids seem well done. Just wondering if that's a good jumping off point, like 70/30 VG/PG and Nic PG ?

I'm in the Philippines so hard for me to do too much trial and error with Nic. My buddy and I will be doing this and I know he doesn't want tobacco taste but I kind of do. Anyway to figure out which Nics are which ? Any recommendations for either/both ? He is in US for a visit so stuff will be drop shipped to him. We can play with the PG VG ratios. Neither of us are into changing out our coils and wicks everyday or anything close to that but we are novices. A couple of 120 ml 100mg should last us at least a year. Money is an object ... to a certain degree. Ok then.

Nic levels depend on the wattage that you vape. Lots of vapers still vape 24mg and most have dropped to 3mg or 6mg, especially those who cloud vape (low ohms and high wattage). The higher the wattage, the more the effect of the nic. What most of us have found is that we can start with high nic to get off the cigarettes and taper off without any withdrawal symptoms after a while. I went from 24mg nic down to 3mg nic in two or three months by dropping from 24 to 18 to 12 to 6 to 3. I tried 0 nic, but it was boring. You can still detect the nic bite at 3mg. So, I raised my nic and stayed at 3mg. That was a couple of years ago and I've not felt the urge to vape anything higher since.

I like 70pg/30vg, ratios are all over the place. Some vape 100% VG for the mildness and sweeter vape. Others vape 50/50. Try different ratios and pick the one that suits you.

Generally speaking; nicotine does NOT have a noticeable "tobacco" flavor. Some vendor's products can seem more "harsh" meaning it has more throat hit (scratchiness) and some will notice a "pepperiness" in their nose (more of a smell thing verses a taste thing). Nicotine blends that do NOT have these characteristics are often referred to as "clean" or "cleaner" nics.

Clean Nics: Carolina Xtracts, Vapor's Tek (and other ChemNovatic resellers), and Nude Nicotine.

That said, I have used Wizard Labs, RTS Vapes, and Heartland Vapes, which are all considered not as clean as the previously listed, and they were all fine for me (and I don't care for throat hit).

If you want more brand recommendations you might want to jump over to the nicotine comparison thread and inquire about specific vendors that you have available to you there in the Philippines (I am ignorant as to your suppliers).
