This is just out of curiosity but I am wondering ... can anyone explain to me why some atomizers have such a light draw it's like sucking through a straw, others just about cause your head to implode trying to get any draw out of them and the 'perfect' ones are just beautiful? What is it about them that makes that kind of difference? The wick? The coil? Sorry - I should explain that I'm talking about the Ego T atomizers here. I notice that some of the spikes in the middle are a lot skinnier than other and the skinny ones seem to have the lightest draw to them. This inconsistency is one of the reasons I am thinking of changing to cartomizers or clearomizers ... not that they don't, of course, have the occasional problems too. But they do have the advantage of keeping your flavors clean! Anyway, thanks for any response to the atty mystery.

I find the same thing happens with the tank atties.

I suggest trying a regular Ego atomizer (LR if you want). It's all I use. I find they are the least hassle free option. I can use them for weeks without cleaning, and when I do clean them, it's quick and easy. They last a long time, and wick a hell of a lot better than the 510s if dripping aint your thing.

I used to use the tanks exclusively, but I got fed up with all the problems. Vapor production, draw, leaks, juice hog... I had issues with all of em. Not to mention crap flavor for some juices.

I've had the same issues on non tank attys as well. This is what I have done (keeping in mind I have tried this on just regular attys)
For too airy of a draw take a toothpick and plug one of the air holes on the side of the atty and test it out.

For too tight of a draw, I have used a pipe cleaner to try and see if there is anything that might be blocking the air holes, if that doesn't fix it I have even drilled out one of the air holes.

The inconsistent draw on atomizers has always been my beef with vaping in general. Awhile back, I started to include a message when ordering atomizers from China like this:

"Please send atomizers that have an easy draw, not stiff. I am ok with you opening the package and testing it" To my surprise it worked! The Chinese will bend over backwards to service you and all the atties I get now are nice and easy to draw on. Might be worth the effort if it bugs you too.
