Has anyone had a problem using the fill that comes with an off brand of the 510's cart filler? I noticed it sucks wicking, and makes some juice taste weird. They also dont have the volume that the stock carts have. Weird? or normal?

i don't use carts much anymore, i'm a dripper now. But you might want to take a look at youtube and search for the PTB mod, or the "blue foam" mod...both of which are going to replace that cart filler with other materials, both of which wick better and won't mess with the taste of your juice so much. I used the PTB mod and thought it worked great.

Yeh...just replace the filler. I do use carts a lot of the time, and I exclusively use blue foam. I got it at PetSmart. Anyway, almost any filler mod will work better than what they have in them now. It's not the cart...it's the filler. I've found that brand doesn't matter much in carts.
I swear, you guys always got the right answers. I've read up on the cart mods a while back. Looks like I'm stopping by Petsmart on the way to work tomorrow this forum rocks

kinda makes ya wonder why we have to mod them instead of the manufacturers just making carts that work. OP might also want to try the royal smoker E2 cartos. I haven't tried them yet, but i hear good things. Apparently they have no filler, have some sorta ceramic well in them. I'm sure others will know more about them than i do.
I think the problem with carts is that they are intended for people who will take 8 or 10 tiny puffs every hour. Who does that?
As soon as MadVapes gets their passthroughs in, I'm going to get a couple E2s just to see what they're about. I've heard good and bad. Mostly that you still have to mod them too a little bit. LOL, that's why I usually drip.

i hear ya...i finally converted to dripping myself for at home. My trusty Phidias travels everywhere with me, and still gets a healthy workout at home too, but dripping is clearly my preferred method now.
I have looked at those, I dont know how much they would work out. I wanted to get some for my drive to work, until I can get the hang of dripping and driving
I might get some to try out some of my way too minty menthol juice I had. I got tired of cleaning my atty everytime I wanted to change flavors. lol. I found some foam in my house, was used to hold dental instruments with. Doesnt seem to melt when held about 2mm from a butane torch lighter...could work...who knows...
until I can get the hang of dripping and driving
friends don't let friends drip and drive....might spill your juice. LOL
