Finally found a cart mod that works for me.

I've been lurking this forum for months reading all sorts of posts about cart mods from blue foam, ptb, clicky pen spring stuff, straws, and I think I finally came to a good conclusion. The three most hassle free cart fillers (in my opinion) are the stock filler which has good flavor but wicks terribly, pyramid tea bags pretty decent flavor and decent wicking, and blue foam which always give my 510 a terrible taste but wicks out all the juice. So what I ended up doing is making the "T" shaped blue foam and cutting the top part of the "T" off then inserting the long part of the "T" into your cart. Place a small piece (about 1/5 or less of what comes in the cart) of the stock filler on top of that. It combines how well the blue foam wicks the juice to the top and the good flavor of the stock filler, best of both worlds!

Seems to be wicking my carts dry and giving plenty of forgiveness when I accidentally hit up an empty one.

Sounds like it would work. I use blue foam all the time. Just a question: Did you wash your blue foam before you used it? I found that if I wash the whole blue foam sleeve with soap and hot water, the bad taste is gone. I have done that and I don't ever taste anything pertaining to the foam.

yeah I washed and washed my blue foam. It doesn't get a bad taste to me until I let it sit for a while. I'll go do something for a few hours, break it out to vape and I get this taste that resembles burnt potpourri mixed with burnt bacon until I clean my atomizer. It's really a hard taste to describe lol. Might just be my juice not agreeing with the foam, who know?

Glad you found something that works for you! It sounds like you've put a lot of effort into the mod. I usually just use the pyramid tea bags, since they are so easy.

Lol it really didn't take that much effort I was just thinking if there was a way I could combine the properties of those two fillers and it hit me. Just combine them you big dummy!
