Am I doing something wrong?

Here's the situation. I have a gtank-us. When I wrap 32 ga kanthal, I don't have a prob. When I use 34 ga it creates a short, I think. Same ohms. I don't know what's up.

give a pick of what type of genisis you are using. Could be shorting on a lot of things

thinner gauge wire is easier to coil too tightly (more flexible) causing a short. vaping just my second genesis wick/coil right now but had to toss several to get where I am as wrapping too tightly was causing most of my problems.

Stick with the 32, IMO it's better anyway...seems to last longer, I got 2 weeks out of my last 1.8 ohm 32 coil on my GTUS, the 34 isn't bad (use it mostly on ceramic in my Ody), the 36 has wicked quick heat-up but just cruds up and breaks mechanically really fast, to fine IMO
