I'm probably not the best person to reply but doesn't seem like anyone else is. The amp tank is brand new not even out yet. Russ from click bang put out a video review of its function. Search amp tank to find his video. The thread is called something like amp tank amp tank amp tank. He has a link to his click bang episode that he goes into his experience with it so far. It sounds great and he prefers it over rbas it seems. (Don't want to speak for him)

I have been stalking avid vapor so I can get one as soon as they become available

I tried reworking the Vivi with ss mesh without much success and just gave up on it. Been using carto tanks with ikenvapes fusion cartos for the last couple months and they are working great but I'm thinking the amp tank will replace these assuming I can grab one.

Hope you get some more people to weigh in here and help you more but since there are really only a couple people that have even used the amp tank it may be awhile till someone can really weigh in accurately.

Good luck and vape on!!

First no a rewicked vivi with ss isn't anything like a genesis IMO. I have gotten the vivi to work ok with mesh but in the end its nowhere near what a genesis atty is. If you want the best flavor and vapor the genesis style atomizer is the best way to go, that being said they can be a pain to get running properly if your new at making wicks and coil. IMO the best way to do a wick and coil is to use the petar k method for making the coil and I like to use twisted 32ga kanthal or 28ga kanthal at around .9-1.5ohms on a mechanical mod (if on a variable wattage or variable voltage you can do regualr 32 or 30ga at like 1.8-2.5ohms. The wick i use a piece of 400mesh thats about the width of a credit cards hieght. I roll it up till its at such a width where it is just barely touching the coil, you want it to be tight but not to tight where it will distort the coil when you insert it. I just lightlt heat up the wick with a lighter to burn off impurities but for the most part its unoxidized. After its inserted fire it with quick bursts, the reason for thsi is to find shorts and hot spots. twist the wick and poke at the coil with syringe to get out the problems. To start cheaply use an aga-t and i would say get a glass tank for it. Sorry this is so lengthy I figured I'd give you info on waht to do if you decided to go with a genesis that way you wont have to go searching for it even though you should research as much as you can to prepare for the genesis atty. Also invest in a multimeter you will need this to test for shorts and to find out how many ohms your running

Thank you so much for your reply, it helps a ton. so in your humble opinion the genesis style still trumps the HH.357? because if so im just going to start trying to fing a hybrid mod and be done looking and stalking sites like a crazy X Girlfiend. until the next big thing that is :)

Taste is way to subjective to say anything is "best". We each get to try different thing and decide for ourself which we like best. I tend to look at different delivery systems as just being different instead of better or worse. I think it's just great that we have choices, and I'd probably go nuts if I was stuck with only one regardless of which one. I like my 357's, and my RBA's, and my Gennie. Hell I even like a nice carto tank.
