I would also like to add that, yes I'm sure they are making a decent profit doing this,however, as stated earlier these guys are also doing this for the vaping community. They are awesome people that are benefiting from this as well as the entire ECF and other forums of people who supported this and wanted to get involved! Like someone posted earlier, it would take a larger number of people to be interested in this for a second run. That being said, once the Genesis LV goes live and the word and performance of the device gets around, there very well maybe that second run.

Ok, I agree... However, the thought of these gentleman putting together all this time and energy to put all the parts into a small production of a VERY classy and well designed atti housing with zero prophet seems like an AMAZING amount of generosity! Personally, I don't mind that they make a profit... They are providing a service to me personally that I could never do on my own. Such as make all the beautiful parts that make such a stunning atomizer...
not saying there is, but nothing says they cant profit from the battery mod, glass jars, o rings, mesh, kanthal... hope they are somewhere in there though

At ease guys. There is no profit on the units, and the parts don't fall under raidy's rule nor the PV as far as I know. We are all friends. Chief has a point, if you are gonna quote use it all people have a tendency to blow stuff out of proportion with the quickness.
That being said, another thanks to all that are working on this project, I know it is a passion but it must take up loads of your time. Just goes to show how dedicated the vaping community is.

Guys, I'm sorry if I offended anyone,truly. As I stated I couldnt do this stuff myself and to be honest I have no clue how much it is the pay for production of parts what so ever nor did I claim to, I was merely stating that its hard for me to believe that all this is taking place without a profit... I even further stated that I can care less if there is a profit. The service that these guys re providing for us is killer! Again, im no wizard when it comes to moneys involved to create this stuff... That's why I am partaking in this opportunity!!

I find it hard to believe they are not taking a loss. I'm sure if you figured in less tangible costs like the online store, email accounts, business paypal account, etc. not to mention their time, they would be taking a significant loss. Just because you have those things for other purposes or business doesn't mean they're free. I believe they are only recouping the cost of materials and the cost to have them machined. and I paid something like $5 to have someone assemble it? press fitting the connector, soldering wires, putting on 0-rings. Not sure you can get Chinese slave labor for that wage.

Chief, there's just some 'baggage' in the non-profit aspect of this that you may not be aware of. Makes it a sensitive subject. Anyway, these are some very cool devices here that we've been given the opportunity to purchase. I can see how your words could have been meant as an appreciation of the opportunity.
Believe me, they totally were! I can also see how they could have been misinterpreted as well. On a lighter note... I am super excited to experience one of these badboys! I actually just purchased a hybrid mini for my wife's b-day, should be here in a week or so! That will be my first experience with a Genesis type device.
