I wasn't worried about shipping time, it just seems strange that Tai hasn't given updates for so long, especially to say that anything shipped anywhere.

It's all right. I wasn't trying to sound snotty if I did. I have been right at the front of the line expecting updates from time to time. I personally don't frequent the german forums, so that was a new piece of info for me. I do know that a fast way to start people panicking is a lack of info in general but I was lambasted last time I brought that up. I hope that it doesn't start a wave of people demanding returns.
If you would like an update send Tai Pan a PM, perhaps he is distracted by life as we all get sometimes. I'm not a worrier, I'm good.
What. Are you thinking they ran off with your money? You think its strange they might have gotten tired of incessantly replying "no, not yet"? You think its strange that a couple of people with day jobs doing an international co-op on the scale of many many hundreds of units requiring custom machining and many varied parts being done and supplied by third parties might have been off on their predicted ship date given months ago by days, weeks, even months? What exactly ARE you thinking? What exactly do you mean by "whatever"?
This type of stuff is unacceptable. Posting an update from time to time takes no time at all. I don't think that he meant to say that anyone "ran off" with anyones money. On the otherhand I do think that he (and alot of others) have a right to know whats up. As I tried to say before I was attacked just like this is that people in the states don't tend to frequent the German forums, so a time to time update of whats going on (even if it is nothing) is probably a good thing when people ( me included) have over 200 invested.
No one has said anything about money being stolen, and no one ( including me) have asked for anything out of the ordinary. ANY time people spend cash on something they want to know what is going on.
Everyone needs to remember that we are all individuals and people all react differently. Just because one of us is not worried does not mean ALL of us are not worried. I understand that Tai and the rest are under a LOT of pressure, and that they have undertaken a HUGE project but in the end, if these messages are annoying THEM THEY need to say so without the person asking being put under fire by people that are not involved with the project.
We all do probably need to chill a little as they have a HUGE number of orders to fill both here and overseas, but I would hope that tai and the other understand that updates are an important part of the process and that the US forums need it just as much as the German forums.

Right... and you would have been the first one to cry foul and slighted if you hadn't been let in.
"unacceptable"? what part of co-op don't you get. If it was a business and someone was making a profit then you might be justified in being owed updates. You're getting something at cost and some hapless souls were good enough to donate their time, effort, and expertise to put it together for you. The Germans seemed to manage to pull off a couple of previous runs successfully. Then we begged to get let in and, I believe with raidy's request for a favor, they agreed to do it one more time. You got the the news about the design improvements, you got the news that the turner they managed to get decided to move locations. We're still in the original time frame and there have been delays. And you're demanding regular updates to your schedule.... Right
$200? "investment"? really? planning on reselling? ...whatever...

Guys: Calm down.....We are all in it together, I trust 100% that we get what we paid for, now settle down, take a vape and give Tai Pan a change and time to respond, this is not a fast food US type of product, relax!!!!
Yeah right. I invest in my PV's. I don't resell anything unless I have no choice. And I didn't cry foul on any of the ones I didn't make it into. Before you try and make it sound like I am in it for something make sure you know who I am first please. Any of the modders I know would set that silly notion right in place.
This is not a pace or time for trying to call people out and if you would have taken the time to actually read what I wrote, you would know that I was simply trying to tell everyone involved that they need to stop lambasting people because they ask for an update. I have never even hinted that I thought that there was even a slight chance of being taken, just want to know what's going on like the rest of the people that are no doubt to afraid to chime in, because if even a word is uttered about status people get all up in arms.
And furthermore the comment that I am buying to resell is flat out rude. I am a supplier yes, but I vape, and I am tired of people instantly jumping on the "big bad reseller" bandwagon everytime one of us opens our mouth. Did you happen to catch the thread where I offered a private site up to the modders in the comm, where they wouldn't have to worry about sellers stealing their ideas and reselling them? Have you been in the medical forums where I try to be of help to people? NO, you just try to make me sound like all of the suppliers I have openly said are thieves.
Do me a favor and at least have a cup of coffee and a conversation with me before you assume you know me.

One thing I can say is this....
Some of us have been through multiple co-ops....overseas and in the states. I can tell you that all of them have taken time to deliver. I have noticed that the ones that are quiet have been through this enough to know that.
Another thing I can for sure say....is that if this keeps on, you can bet we will not be included in the next co-op.

Does *when* you're going to get your stuff (within a month or two) ...from a co-op... really qualify for "this type of stuff is unacceptable"? What is it that you're so "worried" about? True, I don't know you so I can only go by what you post.
