Genisis LV and Box Kronos

Do we have an updated estimate for the kronos units yet? Just asking, not worried.

asking is not hindering, I am more than patient. Just curious.

I ask because I DESERVE an answer.

Tai and the others spend the most time over on the german forums with good enough reason, but from time to time WE deserve a note on what the current status of the project is.

Thank you again Uwe, I can't imagine the work to keep track of 800 orders. Not to mention packaging, shipping, etc.

One question, if you can help. I understand only some will ship soon, will those lucky ones know they are getting a package? Or will we all just have to wait to see if the postman brings us a present?

I don't mind waiting, but it would be nice to know.

I just wondered if we will be notified when our order is actually shipped.

We do not work with the shop. We use it just to collect orders and continue with an ERP-system. Otherwise it would be a hell of work because I have more than 800 open orders.

That means as well that we don't send shipping notices.

I am wondering if we will get any news about the shipping of the first batch of LV. It's five days after the supposed ship date. Starting to seem like "the checks in the mail"

I wasn't worried about shipping time, it just seems strange that Tai hasn't given updates for so long, especially to say that anything shipped anywhere.

Lighten up dude, I didn't say anyone stole anything and didn't mean anything of the sort.

I did PM Tai and he wrote back two words, "nothing shipped"

To answer your question, "Whatever..." was a pre-emotive response to those telling me to shut up. It also indicated that I am not concerned. As in whatever is happening doesn't really matter to me very much.

Can we hug and make up now? I am really not into online fights.

Here are constructive proposals:

1) We elect a designated "are we there yet" asker.
2) We designate periodic "are we there yet" days. I'd suggest something like every other Tuesday where everybody and anybody can ask "are we there yet"? (but only between the hours of 3-4 GMT.)
3) We start a separate "are we there yet" thread exclusively for "are we there yet"? and updates.

I think this would make everybody happy. Otherwise we have the potential for a couple of hundred people asking multiple times at random intervals.

I don't think anyone was saying that anything was not fine. I do think that more info should be posted here. I will stand by that no matter who wants to jump down my throat. I ask because I want to know whats going on, not even so much in an "are we there yet" way. More a whats the status of builds and how are things going, kind of way.

I am not asking for a miracle, just a little info from time to time. Just figured it would be easier to post here than get bombarded by PM's. I think my objection is that it is a CO-OP. I think of those as more of a cooperative effort to get some economy of scale. I don't see it as a volume discount. You seem to be approaching it as an individual customer-vendor relationship. I think we all should be working towards making the co-op go more efficiently rather than individually dealing with a vendor we paid a profit to for expected service.

Those were an order of magnitude smaller and they were centered here in this forum. These guys are German and based in a German forum. Like you said, they spend the majority of their forum time over there. If I was interested in an update myself I would take the effort to go there, use Google translate and look for updates. I'd only ask here if I was really unable to find any information there and if someone else hadn't already asked here. I'll bet I'd find updates over there. I'm not that interested/motivated to put forth that effort to look so I don't feel entitled to ask. I figure Tai-pan and maybe a few others are already donating huge amounts of their time and effort and I don't want to add to that burden by asking themselves to repeat themselves for me individually. Sure, I figure they (Tai-pan) will post up here when something changes or happens but I don't see it as their obligation to do so. That's my view point.

The Kronos is not in a delay because we are just doing the construction drawings. When they are ready the turner is in his new factory.

What more update do you need- there were 800+ orders- the Co-Op was open on the german forum way before here. Do you think you were one of the first 150? It was pretty clear that this was going to take a few months (2-3 months if I recall correctly) when I ordered back in July-

As Quick1 pointed out, we were fortunate to be able to participate in this co-op which was run out of the german forum and extended to us. Tai Pain said he'd update us when there was something to update us with. No news is good news- hopefully we won't hear anything till end of October when they are on thier way.

One thing I can say is this....

Some of us have been through multiple co-ops....overseas and in the states. I can tell you that all of them have taken time to deliver. I have noticed that the ones that are quiet have been through this enough to know that.

You could easily convert the bottom feeder mods by removing the catch cup, and relocate the battery connector so that the tanks would fit down inside and would only have a small portion of the tank and the tip sticking out. Just rewire the connector lower on the inside of the box.

Would be more of a challenge on the aluminum Reos, but still possible. I am going to have a Grip built around one of mine when they finally come in, and will have an RCA set up for just the Kronos and matching tank. The other is a 510 connection so I can use it on other mods.
