I'm trying to hold on, but after already receiving my third co-op order for other mods that followed this one.....I'm about ready to back out and invest my money elsewhere. Nothing against anyone involved directly, but it sounds as if they bit off more than they could chew......
I think alot of people are in the same boat with the lack of updates and information even their native forum is kinda lacking in updates lately Hopefully it just means everybody is plugging away at it

I'm sure this is the case. They did have 600 units to send out + however many kronos units need to be built for this.

How so? They designed. They did proof of concept. They managed orders. They purchased raw materials. They contracted for and got the machining done. All this on a scale 3x or 4x larger than initially planned. They are currently shipping kits and people are receiving them. The assembled GLVs are being put together by 1 or 2 people? in their spare time after their day jobs? I know it takes me hours to put together a genisis not counting drying time if glue or sealers are not involved. So I'd say the pipeline is infinite but rate of flow is small. I don't understand the "bit off more than they could chew". I never heard any hard dates promised. One of the main reasons behind this co-op was to get Genisis' for (or close to) cost. Indeed, the cost is roughly 40% of others. I don't have any doubts that they will deliver. Do you?

Anyone waiting for assembled LV's could possibly change orders to unassembled, And get them sooner.
They are really simple to build. Took me like 20 minutes to make, that's including soldering iron heating up and mixing epoxy.
But I couldn't imagine building 600 of em! Just sayin.
I on the other hand am excited to see a real live pic of Kronos, and dieing to receive my order also...

Nope....no doubts. And the scale of orders you are talking about is the same thing I am talking about with that comment. Like I said, I am only thinking about it.....not for sure going to get out. And there are other reasons for having that thought besides the wait. I have waited this long, backing them the whole way against every negative comment made....as have you. Dan designed, contracted the work, packaged/assembled, and mailed co-op orders....twice already (well, the second is almost done) and were on a 300+ unit co-op. Just saying...and my previous comment is where I stand.

I have to wait regardless, because I am waiting for the Kronos that I ordered. So unassembled or not, wouldn't speed anything up for me.

Easy does it ... we knew this would be a long haul- I'm not backing out- and didn't mean to get everyone riled up... don't think Harpo was either... just asking for an update as politely as possible.

I'm sure the wait will be worth it.... hopefully we'll get an update from Uwe on Tuesday so we can all keep our expectations in line- many of us are waiting for box kronos as well.... and I'm sure there's a bit more to assembling and testing those than there is with a genisis..... maybe things aren't going as smothly as they hoped.....

I totally agree Jim. All I want is a rough estimate on when the pre-assembled units might ship. A weekly update would be nice stating how many they shipped during the prior week. Just looking for some idea when we can expect them.

got a source for insulated pure silver electrical wire?

Not sure I'm following you on this one...if you are going the route of Raidy's design or Peace's design using the silver for the posts, that's not what I'm talking about.

But I have known you (well, been around the forums with you) long enough to know you are going to pick apart everything I say anyway old friend....lol  but I'm not onemof those people, and I'm sure you already know that. ;)

No, no, I *have* one of Dan's kits. I've been planning on assembling it for weeks/months. I'd like to use (insulated) pure silver wire for the positive lead. Got a source?
