I now think that a vendor that I have bought a half dozen egos from is selling egos that are not genuine joyetech egos. I will tell you why I think this. It is because they are offering the new ego-c twist in colors that the joyetech website does not offer them in. When I go to the joyetech website they say they have the twist in black, stainless, pink, and white. That is why I think when I see them offered in lots of other colors I think they must be the knock-offs. Please let me know if that is correct or not.

I have a 650mah and 1000mah in blue. Bought from 2 different vendors. The 650mah came from a large reputable vendor, and it has that vendor's logo on the bottom. The 1000mah came from a smaller vendor I use a lot, and it has the normal Joye logo on the bottom. The finish of both is the same rubbery texture of the black ones I have. I'm wondering if they added some colors and just forgot to update the website maybe? The knob, button cap, and dial at the bottom of my blue ones all have the same feel and construction quality as my black one. Tho I am sure a quick email to Joye could probably solve all questions.

I'm actually pretty curious about this. I noticed "Moderated" was on there and I recently made two Twist purchases from them (full kits). Any how, I emailed them to see if they knew about this and I'm awaiting their reply. I'll let you guys know what I know when I know it.

Removed Suppliers name...for protection of both parties...be careful here.

Usually Joy has a minimum sale price set for there products that vendors must ad-hear to, the biggest tip off is when you see a knockoff it is that it's priced as a price leader with a cheaper price then everyone else. Doesnt take long for the other factories to tear down a new product and copy it, usually with in 60 days of the Joy product release the Bootleg is on the shelf of some vendors. I would ask the vendor if he is a OEM supplier of Joy and if his Batts are genuine Joy Batts as well.

Oops, looks like my last post was modified, any how, I heard back from the retailer and their reply was justified. They told me that the reason they were on the list is because they sell their batteries below normal prices but they are indeed buying their batteries from a legitimate Joyetech supplier.
I seriously doubt that. Joyetech is extremely serious these days wrt the "falsies" showing up. If you sell genuine Joyetech products below the MSRP you are warned by your supplier to raise your prices to MSRP or you just received your last order. This is why many vendors do not carry their product.

I've never seen an authorized Joyetech vendor selling anything but the colors you mention (black, stainless, white, pink). I know if you go to alibaba, the main website for fake Chinese products they have every color you can imagine. Even crazy colors like this: 2012 Hottest Joytech twist Battery; Colorful ecig Battery ;Carving Battery - Detailed info for 2012 Hottest Joytech twist Battery; Colorful ecig Battery ;Carving Battery,Colorful ecig battery,2012 Hottest Joytech twist Battery; Colorful ecig Battery

The fakes are around $5.50 apiece. They say Joye Tech on them. Most fakes carry the original logo. I have an email into Joye Tech. I'll let you know what I find out.

That is cheap for a 900 mah, I went and checked it out and it is stated in the description that it is NOT a Genuine Joyetech Ego-C Twist

Doesn't mean they are not just as good. Look at the Riva, Slb, Kgo, Echo and Hello Batteries. They aren't Joyetech but they are used and most favored over the Joye by lots of vapors.
