Pipe has a BIG SS button
Pipe is coated natural wax
The wax protects the wood and makes it resistant to elements while making it more comfortable to hold. It will need to be wiped with a cotton cloth from time to time and it would be good to apply some wax on it once a month or so

Just a presentation for now - I wanted to mess around with wood and leather combinations and this is what I came up with so far. I got my hands on some high quality leather and I wanted to add it somehow to my mods - if you guys like it I will play around with it some more.
On top of that I`ve changed the connector a bit - to make the whole thing look a bit better I`ve fitted the connector in a well (23mm diameter) so that you can hide the connector of most devices

I love it. The contrast of the leather to wood is awesome, and the white stitching really pops!!

It looks really nice papa worm! Love the wood and leather look! Not real crazy about the white stitching thou. To me it really stands out too much from the leather and the wood. Perhaps a light tan or light brown color would be better? Hmmmm, perhaps a light tan.
As for the recessed connector, I think if you cut the circumference of the inset to about half or 3/4 the size it would be better. As long as a average sized tank could fit I think it would look better.

Ooops, forgot to add that I would be more then happy to test out tanned #1 for you. You know, to see how it felt in the hand.
