so I am posting this as kinda a rant but I believe a valid rant that many of us deal with

*remember that this is all subjective and imo*

But is anyone else so sick and tired of not being able or call online vendors? Get emails replied to? Shady business tactics?

Are these online vendors so so so incredibly busy that they cant pick up the phone?

As a business owner myself here is some solutions to that:

1. Hire more employees
2. Automated phone que
3. buy a phone?
4. Answering service
5. Etc.

Its customer relations 101 in my mind confused customer=talk to someone who knows= money in da bank!!

Now I have not had all bad experiences some places that I have dealt with have gone out of there way to help so good on ya for that!!

But for these places that are not running a professional business its time to get passionate, shape up and exceed our expectations!!!

Ok I am done:D

My online supplier is FastTech. I don't know if I could call or not but I don't speak Chinese.

Actually, I agree with your rant. Customer service by phone is almost nonexistent anywhere..

I dont order from Fasttech but they could hire a English speaking employee lol??

Just like the videos for Sigelei flat out horrible lol I mean come on!!

You know when I was running my auto parts and service business I had a 24hr hotline setup

You could call me at 2 am in the morning and ask a question or come to my shop and get that part you just had to have!!

Not saying at that hour I wouldn't meet you in my pj's but my business excelled greatly above the competition because I was passionate about helping my customers

In three years of vaping and ordering my stuff online I've never felt a need to call a vendor. I respect the fact that most of these vendors are probably just a couple people that work long hours trying to ship out orders as fast as they can. Taking time away to answer the phone would only delay some orders. If they hired someone just to answer the phone I'm sure the prices would go up and they would no longer be competitive. If I want personal interaction with a vendor I will visit a local B&M where I expect to pay more for the service.

Hmm but what would be your opinion on something like the BBB but for vape gear?

I don't know if the BBB would be the best parallel, considering the issues the BBB has had. Seems a company's rating there is directly influenced by how much money they have paid for their membership in the BBB...

Something that if your browsing a site or walking through a b&m and you see the approval seal you know its going to be a great experience!

And hmm why dont we have that forum open anymore?

I didn't understand the reasoning. It was something like "since people put up good reviews all over ECF, this serves no purpose." I don't agree, but I don't own the sand box. I thought the focus it provided was helpful. :2c:

i feel your pain. most vendors dont respond for a couple of days when emailed. the vendors that get back to me same day are awesome. when i sent "sent from my phone" at 2am at the bottom of the email i can tell theyre always checking for emails when and wherever. but then again for online vendors i guess email is appropriate isnt it?? if they have a b&m thats another story but if its only online it doesnt bother me to email as long as they get back in a reasonable amount of time
