1) I dont know why a handsome man like you is still single!!!!!

2) You are a big oportunity for the ladies here and we have plenty of them:thumbs::thumbs:

LOL...Thanks my good friend Imeo. Coming out of 2 long term relationships ...its a nice change...it'll happen when it happens.

How long you been married Imeo? Marriage kinda scares me, cus I work with a bunch of guys that are married and they all say it "changes" after ya get married.

Bristow, Ok.
nope, don't get married!!! I did twice and really it is way better to stay single or have multiple girlfriends ;-) I like to play soccer, does that mean I need a soccer field at home?

That is too funny. A bad marriage can be living Hell but a good marriage is wonderful. I have had both. :)

It is not only the Woman:

"A person receives a telegram informing him about his mother-in-law's death. It also enquires whether she should be buried or burnt.

He replies, "Don't take chances. Burn the body and bury the ashes."

What a cool thread! Let's see, where to start.

I noticed that there are quite a few Computer Science college graduates on this thread, so I will start there. I'm currently an undergraduate at my local community college, acquiring my AAS in CIS (computer information systems), which is one step under a degree in CS (less math lol). Currently, I am trying to acquire a part time job within my college in the library at the help desk.

"Life begins at 40" couldn't describe my life better. This is when I started mountain biking, went back to college, gave up the Marlboros for vaping, and began dating my ex-husband after having been apart for nearly 8 years. I turn 41 this month.

I also moved back to my home state of Illinois 2 years ago, after traveling the country and living in various states for 19 years. I have no children, so making these moves were both fun and easy. I'm very glad to be home near my family once again.

Giving up the "analogs" for the "e-cigarette" was by far, one of my favorite "moves."

My hobbies include parenting my quaker parrot, playing the violin, using IRC, riding my mountain bike, listening to music and studying. Oh yes, and my favorite thing: being lazy on a sunny day! :D

Thanks for posting this thread. It's cool that we can get to know each other in this manner.

Take care everyone & good luck staying off the cigarettes!

Having once been a serious anti-marriage person, I can say this about being married:
  1. Marry someone you like as a friend. Loving them is important but liking them is vital!
  2. Marry someone who has many common interests and some seperate interests.
  3. Marry someone you like without having to change them and who likes you without changing you. You can not "fix" anyone nor can they "fix" you.
  4. Before marrying someone look at their character flaws and insure you can live with any you find.
  5. Jealousy has no place in a marriage.
  6. You each have your own lives and friends. You also have the life you share and friends you share. Nothing wrong with either.
  7. Respect each other and things will be much nicer.
Okay, enough of the sage wisdom! :D

Forget love, I'd rather fall into chocolate. ;)
