I have never used flavoring from this company, but the concerns about lactic acid in the flavorings had me curious.

You may want to take a look at the following:
LACTIC ACID - in food
From this website comes the following information: "Lactic acid in food products usually serves as either as a pH regulator or as a preservative. It is also used as a flavoring agent."

Also of interest: Dulce de Leche flavoring at The Flavor Apprentice contains lactic acid. See here: Perfumers Apprentice - Dulce de Leche Flavor Since Linda at TFA is much more knowledgeable about vaping, maybe she would be a good one to ask.

i know this is an old thread but i am new pretty new to DIY... i saw the pictures posted but just in case they are a bad company i think it should be known.
i actually got pretty excited when i saw that they were local to me but then read through the whole thread.... was anything confirmed by gotsuckered because it seemed kind of confusing from what i just read...

solar, if you feel like trying them, drive over and ask for a few samples - would hate to see you lose your $$$. Some flavoring companies with a Will Call option have free samples.

Speaking of trying before buying, there is a storefront in Laguna Beach (1970 South Coast Hwy) that you can try the juices out before purchasing - hundreds of them. They don't have DIY flavorings though, so you might not be interested. Here is the link to Jason's thread if you want to check it out.

My order came today too and they all say Soybean Oil in the ingredients except for Sugar Cookie. I talked to someone on the phone and explained what they are being used for and he assured me they were in PG NOT in oil!! I vaguely remember a thread quite awhile back where someone had the same problem and the woman that owns the company got really nasty with him. I'll try to find the thread. Too bad I didn't remember that before we ordered! That was a waste of money!!!!!

Sounds like you got suckered.
This is one case when the company name is correct.

Btw I think people are a little hysterical re oil based flavorings. For pete's sake why is alcohol used to thin tobacco absolute ? Because it won't dissolve in water !! Why are the super concentrated flavorings at vapezone in alcohol ? Because they are insoluble in water. Lots if not most of the flavorings are oily that's why they are in PG not water.

I've used essential oils quite successfully with no problem.

I must be old, I can't read the list, print too small, lol.

Hold the "Control (Ctrl)" key down on your keyboard, and hit the "+" key a few times. It will zoom in the list so you can read it.

Hey . . . it worked for this far-sighted ol' gal. :D

Oils will not evaporate from the lungs like water will. I would be careful vaping oils. That is JMO :)
