A few days ago, I ordered half a dozen small bottles from Mt. Baker Vapors in the US. I'm hoping it doesn't get confiscated at the border. Fingers crossed. How have you guys noticed your orders going into customs? I had my order send regular mail and not expedited.

I am finding its SO SO much cheaper to get them from the states. Locally, my guy charges 7.50 for 10ml which I think is steep when I can get it state side for 4.99 for 15ml.

Any good Canadian online providers that don't cost and arm and a leg with shipping and handling fees?

Thanks,

I will def. post if my order makes it through. hehehe:unsure:

I have no idea why the juice is illegal here when I can go into the drugstore and buy patches with nicotine and tons of other chemicals and no one bats a damn eye about that. Sucks sometimes to be a Canadian. You would think the government here would be encouraging us to quit smoking by whatever means WE decide to use.:?:

I've never tried Mt. Baker's. Be interested to see how you like them. I order from US all the time and never have a problem. Usually ships USPS first class and generally takes a week after vendor sends. I just ordered from Juice Mafia yesterday and received notification that it shipped today already. Juggy's stuff tastes good and prices are great. He sends his stuff express so shipping can be a little more depending how much you get and a little for handling. Pretty sure he still does snail mail though.

FYI, eLiquid is NOT illegal here, HC recommends we do not Vape. Also depending on how u interpret our laws, importing more then .4 dose of nic is illegal without a liscense. Some would say each puff is less, ergo legal.

+1 on JUGHEAD'S check them out. But he's only open Thursday evenings for a short time.

E-liquid, like most other consumer products, is more expensive here in Canada (due to taxes, cost of employees, etc.) And like most other consumer products, prices are also dependent on quality and quantity. The more you support local businesses and manufacturers, the more products they sell and the more they are able to lower their prices.

I understand the desire to reduce your costs as low as possible, but when you actually compare the daily costs, it doesn't amount to a whole lot of difference. For example if you vape 2.5ml a day, at $7.50 for 10ml, it costs you $1.87. At $4.99 for 15ml, it costs you $0.83. It's only a dollar a day more. Less than a small double-double at Timmies.

I would rather pay a premium to local stores to ensure easy access to the juice and hardware. It's better than the alternative of having to order from the US and guess when and if my order will ever make it.

Just my 2 cents.

I placed an order with mount baker on February 18, it shipped on the 19th and made it to the border on the 25th. It has been in customs since. Going on 15 days in customs now and no updates. Going to call customs tomorrow and see what is going on but, I'm not too hopeful at this point.

Has anyone had this happen and had their order sent back? If that were to happen and I reorder what are the chances of it getting through the second time?

While not juice, I've had an nZonic sit in customs for almost two months before they released it. Currently have a Hana Mod sitting in Mississauga customs for six days. Is your juice in Mississauga?

It was in Quebec. It was shipped back to the states today :( I assume mount baker will refund my money minus shipping? Or will they try to send it again?

I will be out of juice tomorrow and will have to resort back to the B&M again. Oh well, their prices are not too too bad.

:-x I've been through a nightmare and it's still going on. Placed order for starter kit and juices with Halo on Feb. 18. Still at customs in Mississauga a month later. Got fed up and placed a 2nd Halo order, figuring the first one would show up eventually or get shipped back to Halo. This time I chose the FedEx option. Was called by FedEx agent, stating this one is also being held at customs (at Pearson Int'l) and need sender to contact Canada Customs. Calling Halo for an hour, no one answering in shipping dept. This is beyond nasty, I had my last cigarette on Feb. 11 and have been using nic-free disposables with no TH. I only ordered from Halo because I wanted their no-burn/taste technology. Oh, and there is a customs tax charge of $36 to boot IF this second order/kit even gets to me.

I've tried but have yet to find any phone number that brings me to a live person. 1-800-OCANADA isn't getting my anywhere. Also, I never received any tracking #'s from Halo for the second order. The tracking # for the first order got me nowhere as the sender's postal code was never scanned, so apparently because of that alone I can't get any information.

I have a Yaeliq juice order that has been sitting on a plane now since Mar 11. Canada Post says "Not Found" with the tracking and the Israel Post says its on a plane to Canada.
I hate Mississauga transfer center, its a guaranteed 10+ days before I get my vapemail without customs hassle but I've had juice come through Richmond and gotten it is a few days. I also got a JuiceMafia order sitting in Mississauga also but my last Juicemafia order came through Richmond and they seem to process packages faster. Its still a mystery to me how Canada Post operates.
Whenever I see Mississauga center on the tracking page I just roll my eyes, hang my head and try to accept the fact that I'm not going to see my vapemail for along time. ;)
