Hello,
I am useing ecigs 8 days now and have not had a real cig. :toast:
I did smoke Golden Virginia hand rolling tobacco, about 18grams a day.
I am using a Jaspar & Jasper ecig and Ecopure 25mg.
I am getting little or no Nic hit from the ecig, plenty of vapor.
I have tryed a 16mg ejuice as well and again little effect.
It would be really great if someone could shed some light:ohmy: on this please.
Cheers

100% VG jucies will give you less TH than a mix of PG/VG, but at 16mg its going to be a soft TH anyway so don't go DOWN on nic levels at 100% VG or it will go altogether lol
I know you aren't getting the 'hit' at 25mg, which is less usual - Ive never heard of a jaspar and jaspar ecig though. What kind is it? (Kr8 clone? 510 clone? see the wonderful world of vaping by DonDaBoomVape on the ECF Library subforum to compare yours to the pictures)
I'd also try something that is a mix of PG/VG which eCopure don't do, at the 25mg nic level.

I hear you mate. I'm using 24mg e-juice and I don't get a nicotine rush either. Apparently nicotine from e-cigs is absorbed in the upper respiratory airways, not in the lungs. So nicotine delivery from an e-cig is slower and more gradual. The only thing I miss about smoking is that nicotine rush I got each morning from that first drag off my first cigarette.

Thank you All for your replys !!!
I have Bought a Intellicig and have given up with the Jasper & Jasper.
They are giving way more Vape and have moved up to 30mg VG which is making a little diffrence on the hit. I did think the 30mg would have me on the floor, but no.
It seems to be a great way of giving up smoking But it takes alot more Vaping to get the hit than real smoking......

Battery power does play a part, as does the atomiser used. 30mg is strong, but as previously said, VG juices are sweeter and dont seem to hit as hard.

As Paul said...........an EGO, would have been a better choice of ecig, or something of that type..with a more powerful battery.

At times I have the odd ciggie, more for social reasons than anything I get from it, and trust me, an ecig can hit much harder..

I can't link to it yet...(still too much of a rookie, lol)...but I did find a thread yesterday that had some interesting information about nicotine in e-cigs and maybe why you're not feeling the nicotine hit.

The thread is named: Some notes on nicotine, absorption, addictiveness and MAOIs

I found it in the DIY e-liquid forum, but if you search for it you should be able to pull it up. The MAOI argument made sense to me as to why you wouldn't get that buzzed feeling from the e-cig. I'm not in the medical field, though, so making sense to me certainly doesn't provide any credentials ;)

Take a look if you're interested though :)
