Getting my feet wet

Two days ago, I didn't even know the e-cigarette existed. I stumbled upon basic information about it on another forum I browse. Intrigued, I've spent the past few days reading as much about it as I could. I've always wanted to quit smoking. My biggest problem is... I love to smoke!

As such, I am unbelievably excited to try this out. Being able to get my nicotine fix and satisfy my oral fixation while cutting out the chemicals and tar and smoke and smell and possibly save some money - wow!

So based on advise and suggestions on this forum; I placed my order for a DSE901 from PureSmoker today. I also ordered an extra atomizer, 5 extra regular tobacco cartridges and a 15ml bottle of the ejuice 555 blend.

I didn't know if cartridges or dripping would work best for me so I got a little bit of both to try it all out.

Anyway - I just wanted to make a post and thank you all for this forum and the great information here. If I'm lucky I'll be vaping by the weekend!

I drip and use cartridges. IMO, cartridges are good for long periods when you're not able to drip (i.e. driving). I drip when I'm at home though. Sounds like you got a good kit .

I'm not finding the need to drip. I thought I would just to time myself.
I guess I get my fix and I can set it down (which is what I did with cigarettes).
Topping up a cartridge is a different story unless I'm busy enough that I can put it in my pocket between drags when it starts getting low (quite a long time before it gets low the way I'm using it).

Good luck. It seems to be working great for me so far. Easiest way I've ever gone a day without cigarettes.

Welcome to you!! I know how you feel just finding out about all this. I was so excited and wanted it to work so bad I could barely stand it lol. It has been great for me so far. I never thought I would/could quit analogs but for me, it has been very easy. I have a penstyle and a 901 use carts in my pen and drip the 901. The 901 is kind of a pain for me since you have to either drip or fill the carts constantly. I wish you all the luck in the world!
