No. You will need to vape more. A LOT more.
I beg to differ. Here's my reasoning:
When I quit smoking, I was smoking 3/4th to 1 pack of regular strength blonds a day. Like what the OP plans on doing, I started vaping following my smoking patterns, i.e. "like cigarettes": 10 puffs every so often, 15 to 20 times a day.
And then quickly, I realized I was puffing on my PV incessantly, because it's so easy, because I don't have to finish it quickly because I lit it, because I don't need to go outside... My consumption rose to 5/6 ml a day.
And then I decided it was too much for two reason:
- I'm chained to my PV, and it's not very convenient,
- I'm giving in to my nicotine addiction without restraint, and I like to be in control of my addictions - be it cigarettes, vaping or booze.
So I decided to restrict my consumption to 2 ml per day. That's my ration for the day. I can decide to save it all day and blow it all up in 2 hours at the jazz club around good friends and good cocktails, or I can decide to make it last throughout the day and vape it little by little. But once it's gone, it's gone and that's it until the next morning.
What does it mean? That between vaping sessions, I crave a little. But then, I craved a little too between each cigarette, and it didn't kill me. Just like I get hungry between each meal.
A little craving is normal: it makes the next cigarette/vape/meal more enjoyable. Not craving at all means vaping becomes bland, you end up getting vaper's tongue, you blow money on good juice you don't even appreciate as much as you could, and your habit is out of control.
For that reason, I think the OP is right to plan on setting himself limits. So, for what it's worth, if you react anything like me to nicotine, and you follow my method and limit your juice consumption to what's necessary to provide the same craving relief that you got out of cigarettes before quitting, 1 cigarette ≈ 0.12 ml.
