Guys and gals..... Here's my situation. I've had an Ego for about 3 weeks now. At first I loved it,,,, still do. But my problem is that I was a heavy smoker and I work outside all year long. I find that 1/2 way through the day it's just not cutting in the strength of hit I need and I find myself smoking a few analogs to compensate. I hate that,,,, I hate that.. So, I have been looking to step up and the V3 6v looks like a great product.
Now I've tried to do a thorough job reading and browsing before I posted some questions but I'm confused and lacking of knowledge on some issues and want to clarify before I pop down $$$.

With the Ego I carried mega cartos and 2 would last all day. Sometimes didn't even need 2. Never really had much experience with atties and the little I did have weren't good. Nasty burn taste etc etc... Just never took the time to use them much.

I'm pretty straight on the battery issue. But I'm confused about which atomizer to get. 510 or 801 and the standard or hi res. I've read so many preferences and it all blends together and I'm just as confused at the end as when I started. So if you could help an ole country boy out I'd really appreciate any input.

Hope to be ordering in the next day or two

I'm sure someone else will chime in but here is my advice really quickly.

If going with a 510, I suggest the HR510 which is just above 3.0 ohm. Standard 510 is about 2.3 ohm and runs almost too hot at 6V and can easily pop if you are not careful.

If choosing the 801 option, I suggest a SR BE112 for the V3. It is also around 3.0 ohm. I wouldn't suggest the HR BE112 because at 4.5 ohm it may run too cool for what you are looking for.

Since you are switching from cartos to atties, my vote would be to go with the SR BE112. It will give you a noticeably nicer flavor than a 510 and great satisfaction. Also, BE112 is a juice tank and a lot more forgiving if you'll be dripping. When dripping with the BE112 you can add 4-5 drops and take about 10 drags before needing to drip again. When dripping with a 510, you will be adding about two drops every 4-5 hits. Anything more than 3 drops in a 510 and you will flood it.

Congrats on your choice to acquire the V3. I think you will enjoy it more than you know. Plus, 6V is the way to go IMO.

I actually just ordered the bare kit. Ordered bats and charger from lighthound. I did order 10 Joye 510 cartos from PS along with 2 attys. Gonna try them out and see. Been seeing a lot of people saying that 801 w/be112 is really nice. But I already have some 510 stuff at home so I'll play around with that and see if I like
