So I just received my pack of ELiquidXpress 510 cartos (menthol) and they are badass. Giving me a major headrush like an analog, but very little vapor. I also bought a 12mL of Honey Flu Cured and it's AMAZING.

Question: What are the chances of me being able to get rid of the menthol flavor COMPLETELY and filling one of these things with HFC?

i've heard that menthol is difficult to get out of anything.
I'd just keep putting tobacco in it & see if it eventually withers away...........

thanks for the suggestion on their cartos btw :)

I wouldn't say that I "recommend" these. Keep in mind that these are my first cartos I've ever tried. However in the future I'd probably go with Vapor4life premium KR808 or maybe ecigexpress CE2 XL clearomizers. Just from reviews alone they seem to be superior to the LiquidXpress cartos that I have.

Generally I just jam a 5ml syringe into a drip tip and pull really hot water in & out several times, then shoot air through it the same way a dozen or so times to dry it out. Some flavors will "never go away", but I haven't found menthols to be too terribly tenacious. Also, a tiny bit of residual menthol on top of something else isn't generally terrible, IMO.

I have never been able to get menthol Completely out of a carto, however I was a menthol analog smoker for 22 years so menthol is something I generally mix with everything anyways. I must say though that one of my Favs is Pink Spot Vapors Honey Cured Tobacco with Menthol mixed in, even some of my Non Menthol vaping buddies like it together :D

I had a bunch of menthol cartos that I got with my first ecig kit and after I tried one I decided to just use the cartos for other juices so I boiled them about 3 times after soaking them in 91% alcohol and that seemed to work pretty well. I won't recommend the alcohol now, I'd use the Vodka instead and then boil them at least three times-15 minute boil-dump water-repeat. If you watch Pbusardo's carto cleaning video, he shows a method of determining when all the flavor is gone from the cartos by watching the boiling bubbles pattern change. It worked for me.
