This forum is great! I have finally figured out from you guys where to get a decent setup after reading
several threads and where to get some decent tasting E-juice I hope. I have tried a disposable E-cig called crown seven
and it was not very good. So I bought some off brand EGO at a smokes for less shop here in town but the e-juice
tasted so bad its going in the trash. I decided to buy an Joye ego-t type B with the 1000mah battery from Cignot.
I ordered juice from Highbrow (Cappuccino Diablo and RY4) Backwoods Brew (Malty Toffee, Casablanca and Watermelon).
If you smoke one pack a day how long can you expect a 10ml bottle of juice to last? I am excited to get this stuff in the mail
next week.

Thank you! :)

Welcome to the club. I don't really know what to tell you about how long a 10ml will last. Depending on my mood I'll go through 5ml in a afternoon.(sorry but it tasted so good.) If you find a juice you really like you might vape more. the amount depends on your habits. I got about 200ml of different juices in the closet. Some are a no go and others are a must have. the no goes stay in case i run out but i will admit that i ordered another 115ml of different favorites today. The hardest part of vaping is finding the juice you really like.

Welcome to the forum! It might take awhile to find a juice you like. Not only is taste subjective, but cigarettes deaden your senses of smell and taste, so it will take time for them to return - and you might end up liking flavors you didn't think you would.

As far as how long 10mls will last, that depends on how much you vape ;) and the nic level you ordered. I was a 1.5 PAD smoker of Marlboro menthols and I started at 12mgs, which is quite a bit lower than what I was getting from cigarettes. My reasoning was that if I needed more nic, I would just vape more. It has sort of worked, but I vape like a fiend and go through a lot of juice. Next time I'm going to order 18mgs and see what happens. I think I vape ~4mls per day. Others will have to weigh in on that.

ETA: Finding a vendor that sells sample packs is a good idea. Valley View Vapes sells one and they are having a 30% off sale until midnight 9/30. You can find the coupon code in their thread under suppliers.

Welcome to ECF! Glad you stuck it out and got past the bad experiences. Others will chime in with vendor recommendations. I'm not familiar with US suppliers, but I have learned there's a wide variety of taste in juices, and a wide range in vendor quality. This is an excellent place to get recommendations.

How long the juice lasts will vary a lot. If you only order 10ml, I'd order more, stat :) I was smoking 1/2PAD+ a day, and I'm currently going through about 1.5 - 2ml a day. Some would consider this light, but I feel like I'm vaping all the time. Pleasantly so.

If you're able to, I'd recommend getting a variety of flavours on your next order. Many places will have samplers. Also, try flavours you might not think you'd like. Like many, I was convinced I wanted a cigarette flavour replacement. While some of my current flavours are tobacco based, I'm also really liking vanilla, coffee, hazelnut - really, it's a whole new world.

Explore and enjoy, and good luck!

Welcome to the forum.

If you haven't already ordered the eGo-T, PLEASE don't. It's fine for what it is, and I should know, because it was one of the steps along the way for me, and I just took a few puffs on one after reading your post, just for old times' sake.

PLEASE read this thread from a few hours ago, and get the Joyetech eGo-C (variable voltage) Twist instead, with a couple of Vivi Nova tanks.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ting-vaping-thinking-ego-c-2.html#post7353987

And I vape about 6ml a day, 12-18mg.

Thank you all for the advice. I already ordered the ego-t type B and 5 10ml bottles of the ejuice in different flavors since I do not know what I will like. The Ego shipped yesterday and I ordered yesterday. Everything I ordered had good reviews so as long as it works ok I will be happy with it. I will probably purchase another rig if everything goes well with this stuff that way I will have a backup and maybe I can get my girlfriend into this as well and If I do I will need more gear. She smokes twice as much as I do at lease 2 to 3 packs of the cheap nasty cigs a day becasue that is all she can afford. Next time I order Ejuice I will get a few sample packs.

Thank you:)

Cigarettes are very expensive in Connecticut; about $9.30 - $10.25 a pack for the premium brands. If your girlfriend is paying $5 a pack, she's spending somewhere between $3,650 and $5,475 a year for the privilege of killing herself.

A JoyeTech Twist is about $22.95. A Vivi Nova tank/atty is about $14.

I have a JoyeTech eGo-T Type B. Compared to a Twist with a Vivi Nova on it, it sucks. Bad.

Please do yourself and your girlfriend a big favor and order a few Twists and Novas. As soon as possible.

The more enjoyable the vape, the better the odds of successfully quitting smoking. IMO the stakes are too high to screw around.

John Thanks. I will look into the twist and vivi nova the videos you posted were helpful as well. If I get the twist can I attach it to the
ego-t are these parts interchageable? Please give me a recommendation on where to buy the parts u mentioned. Cignot has the twist batteries that sure is cheaper that what I paid for the kit i purchased oh well.

BB, this situation is much rosier than it might look. Yep, ALL of the parts are going to be completely interchangeable. You can use the eGo-C atomizer with "B" tank on the Twist or on the constant-voltage eGo batteries that come in the kit, and same with the Vivi Nova, or just about any attachment that has the "510" connection that's on all eGo-class batteries and just about every device there is except some of the ciggie-sized PV's, where you get into standards like the "808" and (one or two?) others that I'm not so familiar with.

MORE good news: The eGo-C atomizer with "B" tank are still cool, are an important (IMO) part of vaping history, and while not as well-performing as the Vivi Nova (or a host of other attachments out there, that I'd be happy to tell you about if you email me), it's just a neat setup to own. It's VERY "stealthy", the tanks are really neat (as in "neat-o"), a lot of people use them pretty much exclusively, and they can be tweaked to perform better than stock, as in this very long thread:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...866-why-does-ego-c-get-such-bad-rap-site.html

Here are some other helpful threads about the eGo-C, and eGo-C Twist:

***

And again - compared to what you've been spending on smoking, what you're going to invest in this equipment is insignificant. Remember, it doesn't turn into butts and ashes, like cigarettes do. You get to keep it. :) (Or lend it out to help other people stop smoking!)

Lastly: Just as a Twist can deliver the same actual vape as a ProVari, those constant-voltage eGo batteries you're getting can provide a perfectly fine vape as long as the "correct" resistance of attachment (atty, cartomizer, clearomizer ....) is used. "Correct" in quotes because the amount of watts you desire at the coil often changes because of different flavors of juice, variations of resistances between batches of attachments, worn-out taste buds, or your mood. That's why VV is such a no-brainer to me - especially since the Twist, and now the couple other eGo-class VV's - but the point is that CV can "get you down the road" pretty well.

Once you go back and forth between the Twist and the CV battery, I think you'll see what I mean by all this. In the meantime, just look forward to a good vape, and please don't feel as if you've "wasted" any money, because IMO you haven't.

Cheers, mate.
