I've tried an Ego-C and loved it for the first month and then tried a carto and got better flavor which I'm guessing is due to more heat. Thinking of moving to a VV device soon and was wondering what the best thing to attach to it is. I have a DCT too. Lately my juices have been tasting pretty "dry". A properly working carto tank works the best as it keeps the carto filler moist all the time. Past few smok Tech carto's I've used were not as good as the first. Maybe I just got crap cartos? How can you tell if a carto has problems straight out of the packaging? Anyway, was wondering if there's anything better out there? I dont want to drip but I'm considering a proper drip setup to sample flavors. Right now I use my Ego-C attys with the spike remove and I drip right onto the coil. I have some more research to do but is there anything out there that can be filled and not taste as dry as a carto? I thought I saw some things that appear to not have any filler at all. Please edumicate me!

If you are using a DCT were you making sure to add some drops of liquid directly to the carto? I'll fill the tank and then add some liquid to the carto. The Smoketech dual coil cartos I buy from mad vapes seem to work just fine. They're newer and have three holes punched as opposed to the one hole cartomizer that came with.

I find carto tanks the easiest to use for me. I usually vape a lot so it works better than just a regular carto.

Dripping is certainly an option that a lot of people use. I just find it annoying to have to continually drip juice.

My experience is similar to yours in that I've had times when my tank was kind of not tasting very strongly. I found that dual coil cartos in the tank had the least taste, and XL 1.7ohm Smoktech cartos had the best. I'm not sure why, but there's definitely a difference in flavor.

They're in stock at Pre Punched Replacement tank cartomizers (select 1.7ohm single coil). That's my recommendation, and it sounds like we have had similar flavor experiences so hopefully it'll work for you too.
