Hi everyone. I thought I would start this thread for those of us that may have had an issue where we either couldn't help ourselves and had to have an analog or felt we didn't have a choice. I will start....

Last night my 21 yr old son and his best friend decided to go on a walk through the forest. This is a true story lol. My daughter and a friend of the family was gonna go with them but changed their minds and had me pick them up. Well, I got there to pick them up and left and got a phone call that my son and his best friend got lost and stuck. So, I went back not thinking that this could take all night and forgot to grab my case with my juice in it. The boys were stuck between marsh and a lake and couldn't find their way out bc it was too dark. Needless to say decided to call the sheriff's office since it was state owned to come search for them. This whole time i'm doing good until after a couple of hours of searching and realized that my carto ran out of juice and I had no backups.:(

Anyways, I went for as long as I could without nicotine but it was taking a lot longer than we thought for the sheriff's to find them. My daughter and I had to use the restroom so we left to go to the gas station and i bought a pack of stinkies. And yes, I smoked not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 darn analogs. Just to let u know they tasted like total crap and made me dizzy. But at 2am they were able to get to the boys and rescue them. Luckily they did nothing wrong or get into trouble. But I may have fallen but I did get right back onto my pv.

I just wanted people to know that yes we do come across times that we feel we didn't have a choice but to smoke but, we've all been there at some point and we just get right back up and restart. Hope this helps someone out there that falls down and really feels guilty about it but knows that all they have to do is get right back on again.:2cool:

Thanks for listening. Happy vaping!!!!:vapor:

Richmond, Va...Right in Altria's back yard.
Just have to chalk it up as a minor setback in a VERY stressful situation.I have a neat little half mesh bag that attaches to my keychain with a spare cartomizer and a sample bottle of liquid inside for emergencies, maybe something like that will work for you.

View it as a learning experience and ask what you could have done differently but just hang in there and know theres a TON of us here pulling for you.

No biggie Hippiegirl. Like the gentleman above me said... Keep a backup in the car that you only use in case of emergency. Hmmmmm... that could be marketable ya know ! The perfect little " haha" gift for vapers. A tiny little glass case with a prefilled cart nicely perched on a little velvet bed. Complete with a tiny little hammer on a gold chain. IN CASE OF EMERGENCY.

How much ya wanna bet its on someones site within the next couple months.

Keep up the good work hippie !

Actually they sell Blu disposables at Walgreens that might work in a pinch.

I don't blame you at all. If it was me, I would've gone through the whole pack!!

Glad the boys are home and safe. :)

You didn't fall down. You assuaged your stress relieving addiction with an unhealthy alternative to vaping in a time of need. Instead of thinking of it as "I'm trying to quit smoking, so I vape, and I screwed up" think of it as "I'm a vaper, and I had an emergency, so I did something nasty in a tight spot." Kind of like if you were starving in the forest and had to eat a raw animal or something.

It's all a matter of perspective. Vaping is not a 'healthy alternative to smoking.' Smoking is an 'unhealthy alternative to vaping'.

I always carry my Provari with a tank, an extra tank, a bottle of liquid, and a couple spare batteries. All could fit within a cigarette box, so it's not like the size is unbearable.

Thank you all for your kind words. I'm am back to just vaping and the analogs i did buy i gave away after i was able to refill again. And yes they are home safe and on friday we are taking donuts and good coffee to the sheriff's office for all their hard work saving these two dummies lol. Hopefully they learned a lesson but we will see. I told them next time to take a compass.

I was about 3 hours from home a few weeks back and my battery died... I was in my girlfriend's jeep... my charger in my car back at the house. . . sucked really really bad. I didn' buy any cigarettes but I could totally see why you would.. just remember that guilt is something psychological, and it can be controlled. .. if you convince yourself that saying certain words or eating certain foods is morally reprehensible, then the act of giving into the temptation merely invokes the feelings of great wrong when in reality you didn't harm anybody or really yourself. Have strength, but don't be too religious about it, 4 smokes ain't gonna hurt ya.
