Getting way too many bad coils for the iClear 16

Up until the past week or so I've had great results from the Ego-C with iClear 16. The first few replacements worked so well I decided this is my new setup and ordered 15 replacement coils. Lately I've run into several bad replacement coils in a row (3 DOA and 1 that only worked for 1 small tank worth of liquid). I know the power source isn't at fault because I've tried it with USB passthrough and Ego battery with the same results, and replacing the coil fixes it immediately. I'm getting really ...... at how unreliable these things are. Indigo said they would replace a few coils for me, so it's not really a slam against them. It just sucks when you spend all this money to stop smoking and half the time the parts don't work like they are supposed to. I would just give up on these iClear tanks, but I bought a bunch of coils I need to use up (or find out how many more of these pieces of crap are bad).

I just want something that works. I don't care how much it costs. I've tried the vivi nova, and wasn't too happy with the results. When the iClear works, it works way better than any other tank I've tried. It's just a real pain keeping it going sometimes and I feel like I'm throwing money down the drain when these things are DOA or only last an hour. I like the tanks because they are the most low maintenance option to use throughout the day.

I've opened 3 today, and only 1 was good. The one I just put in works perfectly. Of the 2 bad ones from today, 1 was DOA and the other one had a very hard pull, produced hardly any vapor, but had a really strong throat kick (defective, pretty much unusable).

Maybe this is some knock off or a bad batch that Indigo is selling...either way I'm done buying from them until I get this sorted. Where do you all get your iclear replacements and how many of you deal with bad coils on a regular basis right out of the box?

Might well be a bad batch. I never buy more than 5 at a time from the same vendor. The vendor is not to blame, the factory, but if you keep on buying from the same batch you'll never get a good one.
