Bristow, Ok.
Lisa,

Thanks for the nice answer and for taking the time to do it. (Isn't it the middle of the night in the UK?)

I am seriously thinking about the GGT with the AFS. I think that will be plenty big enough for me. If I can get the funds together, I may also go with the GG Grant with AFS. This darn exchange rate is a killer. 8-o

Thanks again,
Lynn

The transformer will go any size and volts that you would ever need. I have a Grant and a transformer and I am still going to get the Telescopic. They are habit forming. You will be very well pleased.

Thanks, Stormy. I feel as if I am already addicted to the GG line and have never tried one. ;) I'll see how the tranformer and Grant go before deciding on the telescopic.

You're most welcome, and yes, it was the middle of the night - I was up working still...

Yes, shame about the exchange rate.
The GGT and the AFS sound like excellent first choices - remember the AFS will be on test for a little while with a new batch becoming available in a couple of weeks from now so you have some time to save up the cash.

I got them all and I LOVE them all and I am still going to get a telescopic and a new slim too.

Thanks, Stormy. I feel as if I am already addicted to the GG line and have never tried one. ;) I'll see how the tranformer and Grant go before deciding on the telescopic.

I know where you're coming from Lynn. I look forward to the day when you have your GG in your hands. :)

Hi Lisa:

Do you mind telling us which GG you are using with the 18650?

I have spent the last two weeks reading this forum exclusively and still get confused. I have so many questions, I don't know where to start so this will be question number one. LOL

BTW, I really enjoy the great people here! Even though I've been relatively quiet I feel as if I know all of you. :D

Imeo, thanks for all you are doing for the e-cig industry. I can hardly wait to order a GG after I get all of my questions asked and answered. ;)

Lynn

I am who must thank you lash because you pleased me with your understanding:):)

i wish there was a better list of which batteries are best for each model. like have the battery model numbers actually listed under each model of GG instead of links. I have some other batteries already that im wondering about compatibility with the transformer. i have some ultrafire 3.0 volt 800mah rcr123a batteries and some tenergy LiFeP04 rcr123a 750mah batteries i also have some others coming with another mod but not sure what they are yet. will these work with the transformer?

Trans works with CR2s, CR123A, 18650, 14500 and probably others I have forgotten.

so should pretty much any cr123a batteries work well with the GGT? will my current batteries work well? if not what are the absolute best batteries for the GGT at 6volt? protected or unprotected also

yes, pretty much.

will my current batteries work well?
no reason why not if they are still holding a good charge and working well

Whatever the highest mAh rating you can get on 3.0v protected ones will be your best option. :)

Bristow, Ok.
this would be a good idea. i would like to see each GG model listed with all compatible batteries listed below for each voltage option. maybe i am asking too much.:D

That isn't asking too much. I think the problem is that there is so many battery options for the Gg that it just gets confusing.

Maybe There could at least be a list of most common batteries or the best ones. Like post the best batteries for optimal vape time and voltage.

I like 6V. I use 2 of the little green ultafire 3V in my Grant. In my Transformer I use these and the Tenergy RCR123A. I also keep the Ultrafire BCC 18650s just in case of emergency. They aren't my favorite because they aren't 6V but if I get caught out and run out of batteries they can get me by.
