Hey guys....Got my first SSGGTS and UFS on the way....Any atty recommendations? I'm looking for LR suggestions as I'll probably start of using it it mini mode with an 18350 battery. I don't wanna skimp on the atty....I didn't skimp on the mod so I think it deserves a quality atty.

Welcome
Once you go GG, you'll never quite look at vaping the same way. The GG is kind of like driving an Italian or German car, it's has a soul. Other cars just get you from point a to point b, Italian cars make you not care of where you're going to and you just enjoy the ride.

Enjoy the ride

This may sound like a dumb question....but I know nothing about the inner working of an atty or a carto....When using an atty or a carto in the UFS....how does the juice feed them? Do you have to put a hole in the atty/carto? Forgive my ignorance.

In any Atty or cartos there are tiny little holes around the threads of the Atty or cartos generally used for air intake but in the UFS they work as a way to supply juice to the coil in the Atty which vaporizes the liquid which we inhale.... now for say a MAP TANK system they punch holes into the cartos to feed juice into it and the holes in the threads remain there for air intake... now using a cartos in a UFS it may be beneficial to punch holes into the cartos if you use a thick juice like 100% VG as it is much thicker than PG based juices.... and to simplify an atomizer is nothing more than a heating coil that heats the juice to its vapor point just like steam from a pot of boiling water... now the goal is to keep the coil moist without flooding it in this sense its much like an old carburetor won't quite start the engine if its flooded with fuel and an Atty won't produce clouds of vapor if its flooded either... I hope this helps answer your question and doesn't confuse you even more....
