Get some thin enough gauge nichrome or kanthal and I'm certain you can make a coil that would barely get warm at 6V. Nothing about the Penelope says you can't use 6V. You can make you're own coils with whatever wire and at whatever resistance will work for you.

That said, I do find in the Penelope, I run at higher voltage for the same resistance that I would with a commercial atomizer. Right now, I'm running about 5V on a 2 ohm coil. I'd be around 4.1 or so on a commercial atomizer at the same resistance.

Hi

Was wondering what voltage are u using with the Penelope?. Would love to run it at 6volt, just aint sure if its possible.

Seems that the max resistance wire sold are like 2 ohms or so.

Otherwise i have to invest in a new PV, can only run 3.7 & 6 atm, and 3.7 dont do it for me.

Oh yes...it's very possible. I run mine anywhere from 6-7.4V. Just make sure your coil is wrapped for 3ohm or a little higher.

Do u guys remember what exact wire u used to reach the 3+ ohms? Is it the 0.132mm Nickel Chrome Wire? or 0.142 - 0.15.

Cause wires.co.uk state that the 0.132mm are like 78.9 ohm per meter. that would be about 3.156 ohms for 4cm.

Or did u just use 0.16 and wrapped it enough time to reach the desired ohms :) like 6cm about 3.222 ohms.

PS. Coolio Mickeyrat & Hairball, made me happy u clarified that, always had trouple finding atomizers reaching my sweet spot with 6 volts, so guess with 6 volts on Penelope I only need like 3 ohms max, like Hairball stated. Cant wait to test it out.

PS2. ty Perpetua for info on wires.co.uk

PP3. 6 ohms Ezkill haha, u tryed your car batteri with that. what wire was that btw?
