Bristow, Ok.
looking at all those picture.....don't see anything other then a piece of Art, sorry mine looks the same and I am very picky...and I am very Happy!!

I love the hand crafted look personally. You can always polish a GG to the high shine if that is what you like. I just prefer the satiny look. My Grant has been handled so much it is getting a high polished look. I still love it though. My Transformer has the Skinomi on it so the finish will stay original:).

I think I will just wait and show pics of the new finish. I really think what I'm going to do will make it a very nice looking piece. I'm not talking about paint, anodizing, powdercoat or anything like that. I'm probably going to start on it this weekend and I will take pics along the way.

Sounds very interesting. Many people love the way they come to begin with and some people like shining theirs up.

Creating your own finish really makes it a special one of a kind piece of your own - sounds like a good idea for you.

My gg is soon going to have a make over. It will not be shiny at all.

6linkslam, just a thought but why not give your GG a chance to mature first :) The GG Grant I bought back in June has taken on such a beautiful patina just by simply using it all the time :D

Once upon a time I had said that GG will get better by the time because of what chrissie said. If you keep it clean (threads and touches), then it will be new for ever. It has no plastic outside to get cropped and its internal parts are fat metals so they cant break

Ooh Imeo you have just made me famous - or should that be infamous ;-)

Still loving my GG Grant - it's still working as good as the day I got 6 months ago :)

YES, DID I SAY MY GGTS STORM HAD ARRIVED? <BIG GRIN> - I'm thinking I must be one of the first if not the first, non tester owners . If you have one on order emonty you won't be disappointed over the craftsmanship. The finish and flexibility on this GG has been taken up a notch from my Trans and Grant.

Button throw resistance is better and Imeo wasn't messing over the new matte finish. This is quite gorgeous on mine and I feel if all GGs now come in this condition from go we won't be seeing any more criticism on this sub forum over the point. I have a feeling through what I've read on the forum (although I'm not a GG Slim owner) that this base was covered from GG Slim production on.

I also feel the threads are smoother but to be fair my Grant and Trans have had more time to pick up deposits. On that note all owners really need to be looking into taking care of the threads with a conductive anti-seizure compound from go.

Imeo's telescope innovation on this mod is unique to e-cigs and works, holding batteries secure and removing the problem of removable sleeves which are small and potentially easy to loose/misplace. I can see the telescoping also serves to strengthen electrical connectivity and now we can do away with pesky spacers on this mod for battery configuration. The ridge from the telescope adds to the looks of this beast but if I had a minor niggle it would be that the indentation it creates doesn't feel quite as comfortable ergonomically as would fingers around a full cylinder design.

It took me a while to figure the pass-through but after watching the videos this became transparent (hint to Imeo they need to come back on the front page again for ease of access). So the GG will now vape at 5v, which I really wanted to try since it's often mentioned as a "sweet spot" for many, if not all, vapers. 5v vaping on a pure mechanical device presents a problem since modders such as Imeo are focussed on trying to avoid resistors and wires which are prone to failure.

So far I've used this on 510 and 801 atties. I've had to pm Imeo over 901 atty use because I can't see how these attach to the new "universal" atty adaptor and I have been trying hard to achieve this since I'm a 901 AFS user and 901s are my favourite and mainstay atty (that is until the HV imeo atties are available shortly I guess). This is really making me scratch my head since I've watched the old videos and he does appear to be attaching 901 atties to the all in one atty adaptor. I'm sure this will be resolved presently when he comes back to me. GG ownership comes with support within this sub-forum. Imeo's certainly had a barrage of questions thrown at him since my first GG purchase coming up to a year ago (I'm not the most practical creature on the planet shall we say).

However, overall I'm delighted with this new GG for all the positives mentioned. A universal atty connection would be an e-cig first to my knowledge. No other e-cig offers these multiple battery configurations and as yet no other e-cig offers a multiple voltage auto feeding system (UP TO 9V, lol yes and try not to cough whilst doing this you mad buggers) on a durable all mechanical cylindrical p.v. Although over AFS I know they're working on it.. ho ho! Generally speaking the more gentlemanly modders, however, aren't making direct copies of Imeo's designs... IMHO we're currently looking at two contenders over the state of the art e-cig and the GGTS Storm is one of them and does more...

To summarise:

It's quite beautiful (it really needs to be kept in a small silk bag to protect its good looks perhaps). It's built to last, it's feature ridden like no other and I'm sure after its name it will create quite a storm on the pv market...

How can I get one "GGTS", living in the U.S. Cloud 9 website does NOT show this new model at all. As of this writing I have not purchased any E-Cig devices, but need to get off the analogs right away, and all the writings, reviews, and videos, seem to indicate, that while this may be the most expensive mod, it looks to be the best, in terms of simplicity and features. So I am trying to hold off buying anything else. My concern is the demand versus the small amounts of units that may be produced and perhaps an already huge waiting list of those that somehow put in orders with Imeo already. I'd be willing to do that as well if possible. Thanks!

Yeah, I meant to add that website in my first post, since they are not listed nor does it look like one can place a pre-order, too bad, as I can't hold off buying my first mod much longer! :(

He ships fast and they should be here very soon.

Thanks, I'll hang on a little longer. The only other choice that seems close is the SuperT, but feature wise, multi-battery, multi-tip, etc., the GGTS seems the ultimate choice as I hope to only buy a single unit, and not waste my money all any of the cheap junk out there.
